Great for dry food; avoid with wet

This bowl definitely slows down my dog's eating and it works great with dry food. Unfortunately, when used with wet food, the food gets stuck into all the corners

This bowl definitely slows down my dog's eating and it works great with dry food. Unfortunately, when used with wet food, the food gets stuck into all the corners and I end up scraping it out with a fork, otherwise they will stay there for an hour trying to get it all out. If you're using dry food only, it will work to slow down your dog's eating and they will still be able to get all the morsels out.

Slows him down

New rescue dog and he is very food focused. He was gobbling down his food then going and trying to steal the other dogs' food. This bowl does what it is supposed

New rescue dog and he is very food focused. He was gobbling down his food then going and trying to steal the other dogs' food. This bowl does what it is supposed to do and slows him down so even though he starts first, he now finishes last. No dog fights over food as a result.

Got this for my pitbull who scarfs his food down like hes starving. This slows him down to around 5 minutes, which has really helped with his acid reflux and his tummy issues. It was obviously a bit of a pain to handwash it 2 times a day (I used a baby bottle brush to get in all the nooks and crannies) so I just bought him 2 so I always have a clean one available while the other can just be placed in the dishwasher since I like a totally clean bowl before every single meal. I might go ahead and buy another so I have 3 per dog. They're not overly costly and my dogs are worth it, especially since it helps their tummy issues.

Bailey is often referred to as pig-pig. She gobbles her food as fast as she can and then runs to her house-mates kennels to try to eat their food too. Since changing to the slow feed bowl, she has to slow down and often does not finish all her food. (she does snack on it throughout the day) Even though she still gets the same amount of food daily, she has lost weight (which the vet is happy about) and she does not beg for food throughout the day. Her tummy stays satisfied. This bowl works!

The pattern is great

Its a hard pattern, so that's great. What isn't, is the base isnt sturdy enough, and it flips easy. So, that's disappointing.

This is my 4th slow feeder bowl I have purchased for my Cavalier. While they slow him down somewhat, I still have to divide his food into three portions to keep

This is my 4th slow feeder bowl I have purchased for my Cavalier. While they slow him down somewhat, I still have to divide his food into three portions to keep him from gobbling it down. This bowl does not slow him down at all and is the worst of the four I’ve purchased. It’s also made of a thinner plastic than the other bowls I have bought. Save your money!
