My pup loves it a little too much!

She likes to forage for kibble in this mat, but she also likes to drag it around and use it as a bed. She managed to chew up the drawstring, so that functionality

She likes to forage for kibble in this mat, but she also likes to drag it around and use it as a bed. She managed to chew up the drawstring, so that functionality of turning it into a pouch is gone. I don’t even mind that, since she loves it so much it just lives on the floor now and is both a toy and a comfy place for her to lie down.

I could've done that myself

I was super excited to get one of these for Brownie. He's got puppy energy and needs a hobby. This was disappointing because there's really only 4 spots to hide

I was super excited to get one of these for Brownie. He's got puppy energy and needs a hobby. This was disappointing because there's really only 4 spots to hide treats. Brownie immediately picks it up when I put stuff in it. He then flips it over and anything that is not in one of the red flowers is on the floor. I feel like I was doing a great job throwing treats on the floor without this.

I love using snuffle mats and puzzle toys for meal times. It can take between 15-30 minutes for them to eat their food and they tend to be tired after. Brain work is often better than physical work especially on rainy days. We love a tired pup. This one in particular is very high quality.

Easy to put kibble as treats in

I loved how easy it is to add treats/kibble to. It keeps Mia interested and busy. Particularly good for days when it’s rainy and we don’t go out for walks.

Good Quality

I bought this snuffle mat to rotate with my dog's larger mat. It's good quality, held up to several washings, but my dog just didn't enjoy it much. My dog is a beagle

I bought this snuffle mat to rotate with my dog's larger mat. It's good quality, held up to several washings, but my dog just didn't enjoy it much. My dog is a beagle mix, so smedium sized. The red cup-like hidey holes, I found, were too small for most treats to fit in and my dog would just bite the treat and leave parts of the treat trapped inside which really frustrated her. The drawstring to close the mat into a bowl shape was a bit finicky and ended up getting in the way when drawn up into a bowl. I also felt there wasn't enough variety of design on the mat itself to keep her engaged - my dog figured out the "grassy" area quickly, She also figured out that picking the mat up and tossing it dislodges treats. Her other mat has suction cups to keep it adhered to the floor and has five different types of hidey holes (of course she's now had it long enough that it isn't as much of a challenge).

This is a great alternative for us in feeding a dry kibble meal in a travel situation where there is no carpet or rug on the floor. We usually feed our dog a meal in her Buster Cubes because she likes to work for her food and it slows down her eating. However Buster Cubes just slide across a smooth floor, whereas this will stay in place.
