Good for small pets

My 1-1/2 year old Maltese, Ted E. Really enjoyed the treats I stuffed into the soft textured carrot top. The treats are easy to insert, and he had no problem finding

My 1-1/2 year old Maltese, Ted E. Really enjoyed the treats I stuffed into the soft textured carrot top. The treats are easy to insert, and he had no problem finding them without them falling out. The carrot bottom is soft material with a squeaker that was a bit hard to find and had a soft squeak noise I gave this a 3 star Review since Ted E is a chewer and pulled the toy top apart after his treats, we’re all gone. Also, the carrot top is only held on with a thick zip tie which can be easily chewed off. I would only recommend this product for small pets that aren’t heavy chewers

Our larger kitty is always looking for something to eat. In fact, a day or so before this toy arrived, he ate another (one-inch-long) toy and we spent a very tense 50 hours and much money at the emergency vet. So the hope was that this kitty would enjoy sniffing out portions of his daily kibble amongst the fabric leaves of this toy. He does! He carries the toy, snuffles it, bunny-kicks it, and in general absolutely loves it. It keeps him entertained, and it slows his roll on eating his allotted food. One of our better buys--definitely recommend if you've got an always-hungry kitty.

My very food motivated dog can go through ‘tough chew’ treats in a time frame that’s frankly impressive, scary and inconvenient. This snuffle toy is awesome to slow him down. He’s a heeler and loves nose work. It’s easy to fill which is a huge plus over puzzles. The squeaker is a nice touch as well.

My old men weren't interested, but my mom's 2 year old dachshund LOVED the Carrot Snuffle Mat toy. He seemed to like the texture of the "leaves" the most and it didn't even require treats for him to be obsessed with it. He also liked the squeaker, and the size fit easily in his little mouth. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't last very long (about 2 days) before he destroyed it.

When the LuftsPets Carrot Snuffle Mat arrived, our puppy was immediately interested in it. He had fun playing with it. Unfortunately as I watched, he chewed two holes in it within 15 minutes and removed the squeeker part. At that point I took it away from him. So, while it is a cute toy and good for some dogs to have, it is definitely not a good toy for more agressive chewers.

The texture is nice, I know it doesn’t bother Spike’s teeth, the green leafy part allows for small sized treats to be hidden there and provide a fun searching activity for our pup. AND the carrot also has a squeaker which makes it even more fun! The toy is durable which is also great!

My dog is absolutely obsessed with the new carrot toy from Luft Pets! The texture is just perfect soft enough to chew on but durable enough to last through hours of play. It keeps him entertained and he carries it everywhere. Another huge plus is how easy it is to clean just a quick rinse and it looks brand new again. Definitely one of the best toys we’ve ever gotten!
