    No Difference

My 11 year old Golden Retriever is on 2 allergy shots a week. He is allergic to yeast, humans-yes to human dander-cats, dust mites, grasses, trees, etc. He licks his paws to the point of lameness. Rubs his chin so much that the skin is calloused. Staining on his paws & base of tail where he bites/chews. I clean his ears weekly, if I did not he would have ear infections. His 12 year old brother, from different litter, only has the ear issue & their half sister has none of the allergy symptoms, so definitely from the sire. I have tried this product for 2 months & do not see a difference. Bathing him removes the allergens & is probably the most effective treatment. He readily eats the pills in his food. … more

Does help some when mixed with others

    By on

Have been seeking a replacement for an allergy supplement that was recalled, and I've found that combining this one with one or two other supplements does seem to help my goldendoodle, who is allergic to everything, including binders usually used in allergy treats. Only complaint with this is that it's a bit hard to give to him. He tends to spit it back out out like a little kid when I put the tablets whole in his food bowl, and trying to shove it down his throat is an unpleasant adventure. I have been able to smash it into smaller pieces to mix with his food, although it is difficult to do so because the tablets are quite hard. However, it helps him enough that to me it is worth the extra hassle Have been seeking a replacement for an allergy supplement that was recalled, and I've found that combining this one with one or two other supplements does seem to help my goldendoodle, who is allergic to everything, including binders usually used in allergy treats. This is great for dogs but the pill is to big for a cat. It seems to be helping with our dog's skin.

    Itching & Licking

    By on

My Dachshund has had on again off again skin issues/allergies. Vet was treating for food allergy, but months later. He was itching/scratching/licking and skin was inflamed. This supplement has helped a great deal!! It takes a while to kick in, but stay with it.

Allergy meds for cat with asthma

    By on

Cannot use this product as it says to give a cat half a tablet, which is huge and they are not prescored, so you can't break them in two. When using a pill cutter they just crumble. My cat won't just chew them like a treat so it was impossible to get her to take them. Waste of money.

    Not sure yet

    By on Top 50 Contributor

Not sure if it's helping yet. Great price so I did stock up. If anything it's good for her. I do have to break up the pills and put them in pill pockets for her to eat them.
