These canned recipes and their ingredients are fully cooked. These recipes are cooked and hermetically sealed through the retort process at 230-275°F. The cans are filled, then sealed using steam at a temperature high enough to kill any pathogenic organisms that may be present. No air can enter or escape the can after the sealing process, so the product stays fresh for 3 years after sealing. Additionally, all incoming ingredients come with a Certificate of Analysis upon arrival at the pet food kitchen and must pass testing for any potential contaminants that a given ingredient may be at risk for, which can include testing for foodborne pathogens, mycotoxins, heavy metals, etc. Finished products must also pass testing for both nutrient composition as well as microbiological safety before being released to market.

Like others have mentioned, I love that there are actual quail eggs in this! The texture is very soft but not watery either, it’s like a smooth mousse texture aside

Like others have mentioned, I love that there are actual quail eggs in this! The texture is very soft but not watery either, it’s like a smooth mousse texture aside from the little egg halves. My cat adores this food. Just keep in mind that eggs are quite rich, so introduce this gradually to prevent any stomach upset. Of course this should be done with any new food, but I would say especially this one if your cat is not used to having eggs in his or her diet.

My 3 fur babies refused to even get close to their bowls. Even the stray/ferral cats outside won't touch it. Total waste of money. Tried to add a pic, but kept claiming

You actually see an egg!

I am managing a coven of cats 5 in total. I keep trying to find some new flavor to excite one of the Beckman brothers who is not seemingly interested enough to eat

I am managing a coven of cats 5 in total. I keep trying to find some new flavor to excite one of the Beckman brothers who is not seemingly interested enough to eat before his brother eats everything. As amazing as this is in appearance and does get finished by the boys its not standing out as I had hoped its just another chicken meal to them. It is the most visually pleasing to me.

Soft pate that my cats loved

I was so happy to see that all three of my cats ate this food! They can be very picky so all of them approving of a canned food can be rare. The texture is a mousse-like

I was so happy to see that all three of my cats ate this food! They can be very picky so all of them approving of a canned food can be rare. The texture is a mousse-like pate and includes a few quail egg halves in each can. I cut the egg into a few pieces and the cats loved it. I was able to split the can into a couple dinner portions for them. I like the list of ingredients on this food and was happy to not see carageenan used. Nulo is a trustworthy brand that i have fed to both my cats and dogs. Their products never seen to disappoint! I will be adding this food (and hopefully more flavors) to their wet food rotation.

I knew from reading the packaging that there were quail eggs but I expected tiny, chopped up pieces. I was surprised to find big, complete pieces! When I set down the first dish full, my cat eagerly dove in and ate it up. My other cat patiently waited for her turn to nibble. Both seemed to really enjoy it. From the human standpoint, it looked fresh and had no offensive smell. The packaging was nice and the cans were sizable.

I really like the texture and consistency of this food. It has a lot of moisture without being just a gravy that my cats lick off and leave the actual food behind

I really like the texture and consistency of this food. It has a lot of moisture without being just a gravy that my cats lick off and leave the actual food behind. Some cans have whole eggs. I was surprised to see that. Since I have multiple cats it wasn’t an issue and they ate it, but some of my cats do not care for whole egg. The cans go a long way and I was easily able to split it among my crew.
