My tuxedo is picky when it comes to wet food. Even if there's one that she likes, on the 12th day she'll turn her nose on it. This food is different, she'll even eat off her adopted sister's bowl for a few more bites. So this has been recently added to the rotation. I'd love to feed this to them every day but I'm afraid my tuxedo will suddenly be sick of it. The texture is special though, like a mousse and smells like sardines for humans. I had no idea that my kitties would love it this much when I popped open the can and saw the deep color and texture.

Delicious, Meaty and Healthy

As soon as I placed the plate of Nulo Tuna with Pumpkin in front of my cat, Spirit she dove right in, and did not leave until the plate was nearly clean. She is used to eating pate textured food, however the minced meat in this food is soft and small enough that she was able to eat it with no problems and there was plenty of wetness that she could lap it up easily. The chunks of pumpkin are small and bite sized and she chewed them with ease although it did confuse her at first, but Spirit loves puree pumpkin, and she knows the taste, so now I know small pumpkin bits are a hit too. The amount of food you get in this can is a generous portion of 6 ounces and that is perfect for a cat like mine that seems to always be hungry. After eating just about the whole can of food she was satisfied for quite a long time. This food was definitely a win for us and Spirit approves!

I have four 9 month old sibling kittens and it is hard to find any food they all like to eat. I had them try Nulo's Tuna with Pumpkin Cat and Kitten Food and they enjoyed it! I feel good about giving them a high-protein, grain-free diet that has no artificial additives. I really like that they can continue to eat this as they grow older as it is for kittens and cats. I had to give them pumpkin when they were really young and I love the benefits of it, thankful to be able to continue the pumpkin as needed. The texture is more of a pate with pumpkin pieces, my kittens are able to eat it easily with usually just a little left over from one cats plate. I can’t wait to try some of the other flavors. The size of the can is perfect for me to divide between all four kittens. Another plus is it is made in the USA.

Nulo has high quality food with real ingredients that my younger cats love. Reading through the ingredients, the top ingredients are real meat, no grains or fillers, and with added vitamins, which is awesome. On the package it says its good for cats of all ages- kittens as well as nursing mom cats. The cans are 6 oz so I store the opened cans in the fridge with a can cover. When you open the can, you can see the little pieces of diced pumpkin in there that easily moosh apart when you mix up the food. The consistency is like a baby food texture that my cats did not mind. The food is also very stinky, which is good for some cats. My husband personally does not like the smell haha! I like to mix it up because our one cat almost didnt eat the pumpkin at first but decided to at the end. I specifically got the pumpkin one to help my cats with digestion. If you dont want to make this the regular wet food for your cat, I think this would be a good option for cats who may be sick and need some stinky food to get their appetite going or for cats who need a natural digestion helper with the pumpkin. Our two younger cats eat this food and really like it. Our normally picky calico cat goes CRAZY for this food! She practically inhales it and then she tries to eat her brothers food!! Our orange boy eats it but is not as excited as she is. Our senior cat who refuses ALL kinds of wet food would not eat this, even though I know she would benefit from it. This canned food is literally the best! My cats can be finicky about the texture of canned food, and this is more of a “mashed” consistency and they loved it. Linus occasionally takes meds that I have to crush and put in his food. He gobbled down every bite of this food! I like the fact that it does not have an overpowering odor, and they like the fact that it tastes good. With this food, there is absolutely no waste. All three cats love it!

This was a hit in my multiple cat household and even my picky senior lady enjoyed it. I did expect it to have more of a minced texture though, and instead it really seemed more like a meat puree with minced pumpkin mixed in. The odor of the food wasn't too overwhelming and despite it not being their usual meal, even my sensitive stomach Balinese tolerated it well and didn't produce his signature room-clearing poops.
