4 Customer Questions
How many pouches are included in one order?

This item comes with one 20 ounce pouch.
What is the phosphorus content?
Answer by • Jun 28, 2021
Nulo FreeStyle Grain-Free Home-Style Chicken Bone Broth Dog & Cat Topper has approximately 1.33% phosphorus on a dry matter basis, or 0.04 grams per 20 ounce package.
Is the lemon juice in this really okay for cats?
Answer by • Dec 03, 2021
Lemon juice is a safe ingredient for pets when included in small amounts. Lemon juice is included in extremely low levels in Nulo bone broths to help lower the pH of the product and make it shelf-stable without affecting the flavor of the broth.
How long does this product stay good in the fridge once opened?
Answer by • Aug 05, 2021
We recommend using refrigerated portions within 2-3 days.
It seems the Nulo Chicken Bone Broth delivers a far too pungent aroma of vinegar for my felines. Such a pity considering the quantity offered was a very good price.

Great, if your cats like salad dressing
I like Nulo as a brand (so do my cats) but this product is a miss. Apple cider vinegar is the third ingredient in this broth. It absolutely reeks of vinegar too. My cats both refuse to touch any food topped with this but it's probably great for cleaning your countertops

It was vinegar
It just smelled like pure vinegar. I do not know if it was the recipe or if this batch was bad. I could not smell anything but vinegar.

Untouchable
I bought this for my very, very picky cat thinking that maybe some broth would be help to figure out what she likes and doesn't like. I've narrowed it down to only chicken products that she likes. She took one sniff and walked away. Not a problem. I'm used to this happening. Then I gave the bowl to my very not-picky dog who will basically eat anything. He gave it a sniff and WALKED away. That has never happened before, ever. I left it out for the day hoping one of them would end up consuming it but the bowl was just as I left it when I got home. I even tried to give it to my sister's cat and he refused too. Some animals might like it but I know 3 that don't.

Bolt loves this
The 95 lb German Shepherd/Husky mix (Bolt) loves this broth. I add about 1 table spoon to 2 cups of his dry dog food. He used to just walk away from the dry dog food. Now he devours it.

not very good
My cats and dogs don’t love it. I usually make their bone broth myself but I figure I’d give this a try, they didn’t like it much plus it just smells like apple cider vinegar, there is no chicken smell at all. I understand that apple cider vinegar needs to be used to help break down the bones when cooking but this smell like mostly vinegar. I’m just going to go back to making it myself.
