It's decent

My Grace eats this food and has been for a few years. Only think I notice is that she doesn't like the soft food that has meat pieces she rather have soft food that is more on the mushy side. She'll still eat it, however, not a quickly and most of the time she licks all the juice and leaves the pieces. Sometimes I mix it with her Nulo dry food then she eats a bit more of it.. So I now put this soft food in a blender and blend it so it has that mushy like texture.. And then she cleans her plate.

not shredded little gravy

I bought this option for my cats because they didn’t care for the larger pieces and I was hoping shredded would be smaller and would be more enjoyable for them to eat. I was throwing a lot of food away bc they only licked the gravy. This is the same as “normal pieces” it’s not shredded small pieces and not what I expected. They just moved it around

I Believed

I honestly believed that my cats would love this. There was no reason for them not to. I guess that’s why they don’t like it at all. I’ve managed to get them to eat two cans of this by disguising it in freeze dried chicken. My cats love the freeze dried chicken, they manage to eat the turkey and halibut in gravy, but it took them much longer to do. It looked good to me. It was presented in the same style as the chicken and duck that they love. There was plenty of gravy for them, which they require. The food was nicely presented in the little strips. I guess with cats, there’s just no telling. I do try to get them variety in their food. I don’t want to end up with them refusing to eat anything but one variety of one brand that could potentially disappear at some point in the future.

Nutritional

My cat Hannah absolutely loves this brand. I have tried other brands; but Nulo brings her joy

My picky cat loved it

She prefers dry food over wet food but since she does not drink a lot & due to weight gain we've been feeding her wet food only. Problem is that its so hard to find the ones that she likes (I've tried at least 200+ kinds and she only eats 5 or 6 brand/flavors, and it has to be rotated bc she stops eating once we stay feeding on one kind for a while. Even picky over treats too) So, it is just a breeze when there is one more added to the list!

Four paws up!

I bought single cans of several varieties of Nulo for my kitten -- turkey & halibut, chicken & duck, and beef & rainbow trout. She's not a super picky cat, but she tends to love duck and beef and eschew turkey. Imagine my shock when she went NUTS for the turkey & halibut variety! Next time I bought a case and she was always eager for mealtime, racing over whenever she heard me opening a can. I am adding this into her regular rotation of food! The only quibble I have is that she seems to need more of this food because the calories are lower; she went through 3-4 cans/day vs. only 2-3 cans/day for comparable cans from other brands (Blue Buffalo, American Journey etc). Not a major issue, just something to mention in case budgetary constraints are a concern.

Not the same flavor and smell

I was so excited that Nulo is back in stock! It was my cats favorite. They swallowed it with great speed and licked the plate. But unfortunately, I guess they changed the formula: the look of the food is different, smell is different as well. I tried many time to offer this food to my cats: Huge NO Not even want to try it. We are all sad

a favourite

My cat loves this flavour and I was super happy to see it come back in stock. Unfortunately it's become a bit more expensive recently but the excellent ingredients list is worth it.

Not the cats favorite

I bought this because ingredient-wise it's better than the other brand I feed them. But the two cats clearly don't like it as much as that brand. I introduced it slowly. 1:3 ratio, then 1:1, and finally just this one. Cat 1 will eat it 1:1 and sometimes alone. But doesn't finish it all, will wait for other food, and then comeback and finish it later. Cat 2 will sometimes eat 1:3 ratio, anything more and she'll pick around and then turn away. Helps when I'm trying to figure out if they are hungry or just hanging around their food bowls when I'm in the kitchen. If they are only begging once I come into the kitchen I try giving them this first. That helps prevent them from overeating.

Matilda doesn't like it

Matilda, my cat, loves most of the Nulo freestyle canned food flavors, but not this one. I bought a case of this flavor that is new to her, not even considering that it might be an issue, but she will not eat it. Tried it 3 times and, so far, no go.
