Smaller kibble
My dog likes it, unfortunately the kibble is just too big for her, even though it’s for small breeds. I have a 5lbs teacup chihuahua who’s 8 and has small teeth. Her teeth are in great shape, but it’s obvious that the kibble just isn’t small enough. Hopefully they decide to make this formula in smaller ones.

Sensitive Stomach and Picky Eaters
Literally the only food my picky pom mix eats. And my corgi has a sensitive stomach. So it was a win win situation. My pom mix is soooo picky! She wouldn't eat for dayyyyyys and I would have to put rice in it. But this is the only kibble she eats without rice or any fancy toppers in it. And my corgi has a sensitive stomach and would have horrible diarrhea and/or vomits up his food. But ever since this brand, he has been having the healthiest poops and no vomiting. Not even once! So happy with this product. It works very well for my furbabies!
Best dog food for picky pets with sensitive stomach
My Pomeranian is very picky and will go on days not eating if she doesn't like her food. No matter what I fed her, she didn't eat for 3 days and started throwing up and pooping blood. I was so worried and rushed her to the vet. The vet gave her some prescriptions including probiotics for 30 days and bland diet. She would not eat the prescription can food the vet gave her so I went to the store and picked up all sorts of dog food for bland diet. I have to mix up dry food with some wet food, toppers or broth in order for her to eat. I have to mix up the combination of food because she doesn't like eating the same food all the time. I'm so lucky that the store had a sample of the Nulo Frontrunner for Small Breed and was so surprised that this is the ONLY dry food she will eat by itself everyday, without adding any toppers or broth. This definitely calmed her stomach and got regular. Save me a lot of time because I don't have to mix it with other food and since it already contains probiotics, I don't have to buy it separately and figure out how to give it to her. Looking at the Nulo brand scientifically, their ingredients, production, and packaging are top-notch, but the best indicator of their quality is how much my dog loves it and how they make my dog feel. I also love the velcro seal they have. It's so much easier to use and efficient at keeping air out and keeping the food fresh. My new favorite brand and recommends it to all my friends with furry companions.

My picky eater likes it
I am unaccustomed to having a picky eater in my crew. I’ve had to experiment with lots of options. So far (3 months now) this meets our kibble needs, knock wood.
Yum yum - great food
My dogs are sensitive to some dog foods. I added small amounts of frontrunner dry dog food to my old food. There are no any problems in doing so.
My kid loves this food!
The kibble size is a bit large but my dog loves it, even with her sore teeth (since cleaning and extraction). I love that this food doesn't have pea protein, as legumes are contra-indicated for dogs prone to heart disease, like mine (stage 4 heart murmur). This formula has animal protein instead. In a side by side taste test, she much preferred it over the food I chose for her last month, as I rotate foods and feed both while introducing her new food.
Picky Havanese babies love it!
I have two picky Havanese babies and they love it! In eight years that I have had these guys, they have never taken to a brand so quickly. I feed them the wet and dry Nulo mixed at each mealtime, moring and evening. I am so happy they love their food!! Happy fur mommy here! :-)
Our dogs won't eat the food
The dogs will not eat this food, they went without eating three days and still left the food in their bowls.
