I am fostering a mama cat & her 7 kittens, who are just learning to eat but still nursing. I received this food a few days ago & immediately put some out for the litter. The kittens were instantly interested in the food but would not eat it. Mama cat wasn't the least bit interested. After several days, none of them will have anything to do with it. Mama cat & some of the kittens are eating other food that I've put out so they are choosing to eat other foods. I did offer some of this food to my older cats & they did scarf it down like it was a big treat, so the food is clearly appealing to some cats. The 7 kittens are just 4 1/2 weeks old so as they learn more about eating, they may decide they like this food & I will continue to offer. I foster quite a bit & have learned that what works for 1 litter doesn't necessarily work for another. I do love the small pieces that this kibble comes in & find it easier for little teeth to chew. It seems to have good ingredients that should be good for the healthy growth of kittens. It has a mild aroma to it that is difficult to describe but it certainly gets the interest of all the cats & kittens that smell it. I like that the food comes in a bag that can be securely sealed up, too, saving me the hassle of finding a container to store it in. Overall, I think it's a good quality food & I am hopeful that my young litter will start eating it once they decide their mom isn't feeding them enough.

My daughter recently adopted a kitten from her local shelter and was very concerned that he wasn’t eating his kitten food so I let him try my bag of Nulo Prowess Kitten food. I knew that it was healthy for him and full of nutrients but the true test would be whether or not he would he eat it and not only did he eat it but he also seemed to love it. He has been eating it for the past few weeks and it has been smooth sailing.

The Nulo Prowess Bright Beginnings kitten food is a very small kibble size which is great size as a first kibble for Kittens. My kitten, who is 5 months old, wasn’t very excited about eating it. He has been eating kitten kibble for about 3 months. After some encouragement he did eat it. There was not a lot of oder coming from the product, which is great if you don’t like smelly cat food. Because my kitten wasn’t very interested, I would most likely not purchase this item but I would say you should try it because your kitten might like it. The package was easy to open and has a reseal closure. This is a nice feature.

We have been trying this food and have been so happy with the results. They absolutely love it and come running as soon as they hear the bag. The kibble size is perfect for little mouths, and it’s packed with the nutrients kittens need to grow! We love that it’s made with real chicken and salmon, has no corn, wheat, or soy, and includes DHA for brain and eye development. Their coats look shiny, their energy is great, and they’ve been eating every bite. It’s clear this food is made with quality ingredients, and we’ll definitely be sticking with it as they grow.

I will not recommend this kitten food I have 7 foster kittens right now and 3 did not like it at all, 2 could not keep it down, the other 2 were ok but was showing

All went back on Fancy Feast can wet food and Royal Canin Kitten and are fine now. Note: 2 of my adults got into the food and came down with UTI's, coincidence?
