Great size for elderly cat

My cat is extremely picky and she immediately loved this food. I mean she’s bias and loves dry over wet. But since she’s about 13 yrs old I wanted to give her something

My cat is extremely picky and she immediately loved this food. I mean she’s bias and loves dry over wet. But since she’s about 13 yrs old I wanted to give her something easier to chew. I also feel like it has given her better bowel movements. I will say they are more defined logs (sorry for the visual) but a little smellier but seems to be straining less! And overall my girl is happy with the food.

I started to write about Nulo Prowess Mature Cat Food several weeks ago as my very senior cat just couldn't get enough of it. I really thought that the small size kibble was an excellent idea and perfect for her older teeth and was making it so much easier for her to eat. Then, Ms.Picky reared her queen bee self. We're having a stand-off. Her coat looks amazing, her activity level is up there and her poops are firmer (she had some trouble in this area with loose stools). I also love the easy reclosable bag. So I am giving them 5 Stars 🌟 . She is still eating the Nulo just has to stare at it a bit first. And I can depend on Chewy.com for fast auto delivery.

I was really excited for my senior cat to try Nulo Prowless Mature, especially because it’s made with high-quality protein, added nutrients to support aging cats, and a soft, easy-to-chew texture. I also love that it has no artificial additives and focuses on balanced nutrition for mature cats. Unfortunately, my cat didn’t take to the flavor or texture — he gave it a few sniffs and walked away. Every cat has their own preferences, so while this one wasn’t a match for him, I still appreciate the thoughtful formulation and quality ingredients. I’ll be trying to mix it with hus usual food to see if that helps him transition. The packaging is sleek and resealable, which keeps it fresh and easy to store. Overall, it’s a well-made product that might be a great fit for other mature cats with different taste preferences.

Received this new food from nulo prowess for senior cats, which I have alot of and have been integrating in with their old food thr passed week, some love it and others "the strays" I feed are not fans! Which for stray cats any food you'd think they'd be happy to eat but not these. Now my one cat Tùggee loves it which is a plus being she will eat this instead of Lulu's high price prescription food! Going to definitely buy this brand again just not sure if feeding the two of them different food is feasible. The food is reasonably priced and from ingredients, high quality and the kibble size is just right for my 1 cat who loves to eat!

I have 2 senior cats. One, a 12 year old named Jojo ive had since he was a few weeks old. The other is 18 and named Angelus. He has a sad story that's not mine to tell, but is now in my care. While Jojo is starting to slow down, Angelus has many more age relsted issues. His coat is clumpy and dull, his eye sight is poor and he is having some cognitive decline. Im so glad he enjoys this Nulo Prowess food for seniors. Its packed with great ingredients for seniors like him. The DHA should help with his vision and cognitive function and the vitamin E and fatty acids should help with his coat health. I love that Nulo is a name I trust, there's no filler ingredients, and the pieves are small for my seniors' aging teeth. Weve been using this food forba few weeks and plan to continue to use it for our senior kitties.

I have 11 cats, 9 are over 10 years old. Seven of my cats loved this food, when I opened the bag they all gathered around from the aroma and they really enjoyed the taste. I did notice that they also liked the size of the kibble. The four cats that didn't go back for more are the VERY picky eaters so I expected it from them. I will purchase Nulo Prowess again for the ones that enjoyed it.

I have two senior cats so I figured I’d try this as it’s considered to be a better quality food. I love the size of the kibble it’s very small especially for cats and they seem to manage eating it fine. I also like that there’s not a lot of byproducts in it so it’s more nutritional than your average kibble I put it on top of their wet food to ease them in to it as they were eating pro plan and I was looking to upgrade their dry food I have one senior cat that is allergic to chicken and he seems to be doing fine with the turkey with no allergic reaction at all, which is a relief - I would definitely recommend it for cats that are picky eaters as long as you ease them into it over wet food as they normally don’t do well with change . I’ve tried the same brand in wet food it’s a little pricey but worth it if they enjoy it

I have 6 cats and they are a great test of products - so I wasn’t sure if they would give this food a thumbs up or not, turns out they love it. I have two 16 year olds and they can be pretty picky but immediately ate this food. One thing I really like about it is the size of the kibble, it’s much smaller than other dry food options - more similar to the size of kitten food. For my older guys that have had dentals, it’s nice to have the smaller pieces.

My 13 year old cat wasn't a fan of this food and refused to eat it. It might be that she just doesn't like the flavor. She's not usually a picky cat, but you never know. I tried to incorporate it over several weeks but she would eat around it. The quality seemed good out of the bag, and the nutritional value seems on par with the food she normally eats, it just wasn't for us.
