Our pittie/terrier mix is about 8/9 years old, and we just adopted a wild little guy to be her friend. She was so excited to play, but it was clear that she couldn't go for long. She stopped jumping up on the couch or bed, she stopped running. I started her on some joint chews a friend gave me, and they seemed to help, but I was running out. So I thought I'd try these! It was like night and day, these work SO much better. I also added an omega-3 chew to her diet, so I'm sure that's helping too. But she loves gobbling them up. She's a picky eater, so I was nervous. I'll definitely continue to buy these.
Our 6 year old Lab was limping. It occurred occasionally after zoomies in the wet grass, then we noticed it becoming more and more frequent and long lasting. The vet said nothing was torn or in need of surgery and to let her rest and maybe try an over-the-counter joint supplement. This came highly recommended by our neighbor. We have seen a difference - a significant improvement - within just a few days! There have been no side effects (she has a sensitive tummy, so we were a bit worried there might be some issue). She gobbles them up in her dinner without any trouble. I'm so happy our pup is feeling better!!
Been using Cosequin for about a year. My dog is a Cavachon. They are prone to leg and hip issues. He seemed to always hurt one of these areas more often than a 5 year old should. I now give him Cosequin every night with his dinner. I feel this product has been very good for him and his issues have greatly decreased on Cosequin. My plan is to continue with this product nightly.
My dog loves them takes them with no problem!!... and they work well I have a 12 year old pit that was having problems walking and getting up started him on Nutramax he has been on them for 3 weeks now and what a important it has made I got my playful boy back!!
My German Shepherd Fritz is 9 years old I have been giving him Cosequin for 6 months now and I can tell that he is moving better and going up and down steps with ease. He is like he was when he was 4 years old.
We hav a Harlequin Great Dane who is approaching 5yrs old. We wanted to start him on a joint supplement to avoid th joint prblms older dogs can develop especially Xtra LG breed dogs. We hav always had Great Danes for th past 40yrs, & hav always put them on a supplement for this b4 any prblms occurred; & it's always worked very well for us. Some of our Danes lived to 9&1/2 yrs old (old by Great Dane standards) &never had medical issues with mobility. So our current Dane, is a feisty Harlequin that hates taking pills (even th ones a company says "tastes great & dogs love them"). On top of that, he has sensitive stomach issues & has to be on a special diet. So we figured he's going to hate taking th chew tabs, will spit it out, & then if we "sneak feed" it to him, he'll prbly throw it up! Much to our surprise, none of that occurred. We do "sneek" it in with his treats when we hav him review his tricks everyday. But he accepts it gladly & doesn't spit it back out. However we cud not do th recommended 3 pills to start per day (we tried) but he developed loose stool so we cut it back to 1/day to start. None of our other Danes had sensitive stomach issues & so they took th regular amounts of th supplement. We are very happy with this product.
My pit hurt her leg a few years ago and she's had a slight limp ever since. I was told to try this product out and she seems to be doing better, less soreness and limping after lying down for a long time.
Mack, our Border Collie will be taking this supplement for the rest of his life. Effect was almost immediate. Cost from Chewy was much less than local stores if they even had it. But, do you perhaps have an anti herding pill? Just kidding.
Really seems to work. Senior dog went from barely managing the stairs to going down them so fast he tripped over his own feet and fell. He has more energy and moves better. So happy to see it.
This product seems to really help my dogs arthritis issues. I would really recommend for any per owner whose dog is having any joint discomfort. I knocked one star off because one of my dogs doesn’t really enjoy the taste, but you can crush them up and mix with wet food etc
