Why did I wait so long to start this
By Robyn on Feb 12, 2021
My Digger (dog) is almost 8 years old. He's a bit on the fat side. He's had problems climbing the stairs, jumping in the bed off and on for several years. We even lowered the bed to the floor. He went to the vet in January with a "pulled muscle" in his front leg. It took him nearly 3 weeks to recover..with pain pills. So I order the cosequin. I started him on 1/2 pill for a week. 1 whole pill for a week (tommorow). I'll keep him there. Within 3 days of taking this he was acting like a puppy again. He's playing, runs up the stairs, throws his toys. I wish I would have started this when he first had a hard time climbing the stairs. He's an entirely new dog...he's like a puppy.

Pain Relief
By Tanya on Feb 16, 2021
My 1yr old pit mix has Luxating Patellas. It was getting to the point were she was refusing to walk on her left leg and limping all the time. As a last stitch effort to help her before we resorted to surgery I purchased the Cosequin. She wouldn't eat them on her own so I broke on tablet up into her food twice a day. After 2 weeks she is now walking on her left leg and rarely limping. This obviously isn't going to be cure for her condition but at least it seems to have given her some relief from the pain. I will continue to give these to my dog.

Helps the Hips
By Eric on Jan 28, 2021
I don't know how else to put it. My 13-yo Aus Cattle Dog was barely able to stand up on his own, thanks to pain in his hips, and he insists on lying on the tile floor, which doesn't help. After just a couple of days of Cosequin there was immediate improvement; he only needed help 10% of the time instead of 90%. We're now on day 13 and he hasn't needed help in the last several days. Please note that he was only struggling to get up for one or two days before we ordered this from Chewy and began treatment. Don't expect similar results if your dog has struggled for six months. My Bowzer also helped me train for marathons (3-5 miles per day was all I took him) early in his life, because he comes I don't know how else to put it. He's mostly been in top physical condition and hip problems are common with larger breeds. Dogs can mask pain pretty effectively so it's important to consult your vet and make sure your dog isn't suffering silently. … more

Helped my large/giant breed dog
By Julie on Jan 25, 2021
I have a 150lb rotty mastiff mix dog who is 12 years old. I noticed lately that he had a hard time getting up from laying down. It was getting more difficult for him. I knew the reputation of cosequin and decided to try it. It was amazing. Within 3 days I noticed a big difference in him for the better. Within a week he no longer struggled to get up. He won't eat them plain though, I have to wrap them in bread. Then he gobbles them right up. I am so glad I bought these. It makes me so happy to not see him struggling anymore. He's back to jumping and running around again

Great for my dog's joints
By annandrick2003 on Feb 23, 2021
My vet said it would take a month or so to see any improvement. After a couple of weeks of starting this with our baby, we had ice, followed by a lot of snow and she was having the time of her life. She was jumping, running, tail wagging. It was so good to see her having so much fun. The next morning, she was a little stiff, but I'm sure in another month, that will go away.

So far So Good
By Biscuit on Jan 20, 2021
We are just going into week and there is definitely an improvement. As soon as she started to feel better she went to hard playing and it showed but we started to see improvement in the first week. We will do the 4-6 week initial dose and see where we are then. She is a slight picky eater and eats the pills no problem without a pill pocket or a having it in food or a snack. We were doing both pills in the morning but she threw up one time a few days into first starting so we now do one in the morning and one in the evening and have had no issues. So far I am happy with the product.

Unsure, we'll see
By BluesClues on Feb 16, 2021
So, I previously purchased VetriScience GlycoFlex Classic 600 Mg Joint Support Dog Tablets. Unfortunately, they were unavailable on Chewy, so I was forced to purchase these for the first times. My dog is not crazy about them. I had to keep giving them to him for him to eat it. As of now, he's eating them. So fingers crossed its working, considering the price.

Too soon to tell
By OtisTheBeabull on Jan 31, 2021
We purchased these for our 7 year old beagle/bulldog who has had some issues with his back, rear legs. He has been taking them for about a week and I could be crazy, but I think they are helping. He was moving so slow and getting picked on quite a bit by our blue heeler and now he is jogging up the stairs and rollerblading with us. I am really optimistic that these will help improve his quality of life! He seems happy so that's what matter most.

Cosequin DS is great.
By RocketsMom on Jan 13, 2021
My vet recommended this and many friends use it for their dogs who are athletes (agility). I have seen a difference already. My dog was limping (may have been a muscle pull — I’ll never really know) for about a month. I started with 3 pills a day (he is 73 pounds) and I have seen a great improvement. We now do the maintenance dose of 2 daily pills. He likes the taste, too. We hike for 3-5 miles almost every day. It cannot hurt him and can only help him as he ages. He is 6. I will continue with Cosequin DS.

Helps a ton!
By Kayla on Jan 23, 2021
For a while, about every 6 months, my husky shepherd mix would have these random fits where he was in serious pain and wouldn’t eat or move. He would just sit and cry all day. I brought him to the vet and she said when they get like this it’s either cause of stomach pain or back pain. Neither really seemed to be affected in his case and I wondered if maybe it had to do with his joints. I bought this last year and have given him one with each meal since and he hasn’t had another fit like that!
