Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

My dog will eat anything. Any slight flavoured or chewable tablet he will eat without the need of disguising. Any other pill he eats in a pill pocket no fuss. This is only one he’s ever managed to spit out every single time. i have to tr multiple times and ita costing a lot in pill pockets. sometimes i just cannot get them in him without forcing so i give up. he is a rescue and very sensitive with trust issues so i can't do this to him unless its life or death and these are supplements. He is within the weight range and they are very big and they are very hard. Also, they are BRIGHT blue. if you get it on your fingers it stains and does not wash off easily. why are they bright blue?what kind of artificial unnecessary additives are in them?
Whyyy??? So frustrating that these were not chewable and I missed that when ordering. You have to give this med either one hour before a meal or two hours after a meal. Then you have to crush the heck out of it to wrap in peanut butter to try and get it down their throat. You cannot prep the med earlier either because the humidity makes it like glue. I use like four things (utensils and bowls) to prep this med to be able to give it to my dog. I bought two bottles and most likely will not purchase again for my senior dog. It’s like chasing a toddler around my house trying to get her to take it. Such a mess. Do not buy unless you want to get in a workout to get your dog to take this!
Denamarin has been helpful in battling her elevated liver enzymes. Although just a supplement, I believe it is an important component in her overall medical care for her liver giving her every chance at a long and healthy life.
I switched to the brown tablets in the bottle instead of the turquoise tablets in the blister packs. Since my Corgi won’t take tablets any way except pushing down her throat, I no longer have turquoise-stained fingers!!!
This product in all of its forms has been a life saver for several of my dogs over the years. Somehow my product was changed from the blister pack with blue tablets to these tan coated bottle of tablets. This product has several storage reuirements and we've had some record breaking heat waves so i checked the temperature in the box when it arrived and it was over 100F degrees and the tablets were melted inside. I also noticed my dog was not feeling well. Anyway, the blister pack tablets seem to be better in the heat. I'm grateful for this product and of course, we all know Chewy is going to make everything okay again. Just a note: please be aware of heat effects on medication shipments.
I’ve been giving this to my dog since well before I can remember. Recently the shape was changed from capsule to tablet; the tablets are not easy to camouflage in anything because they are so large. In addition, I have experienced, several times, a shortage in the product and was in a panic; I contacted the company. Thank God, this is not a prescription, as then it would be required to take daily (for which I wouldn’t have enough of and my dogs would wind up going into withdrawal with side effects).
My 15 year old Boston Terrier has been on Denamarin for several years. It has helped keep his liver in check and I can't be happier with the results. I hope to use this medication for many years to come.
Just to let you know Will not be needing any auto fills on Nutramax. My fur baby Bandit passed away this morning. Thank you for all you've done for Bandit.
My 14 (almost 15) year old yorkie mix had blood work down that showed extremely high liver enzymes, ALK-P specifically was over 2000. Less than 1 month on this supplement he was down to under 800. He is on this daily and we will continue to monitor but There is a very noticeable improvement in his alertness and energy level.
The Denamarin has been very helpful in helping my dog recover from a liver infection.
