And I want to add that the Chewy customer service is absolutely top notch. They were so helpful throughout the process of finding the right fit for our sweet little addition to our family.

Horrible bent cans

never have I received such a horrible shipment from Chewy! The cans were all bent the packaging was falling apart. There were no cardboard inserts for the cans

I received this food as part of the Chewy Possibilities program right after my dog suddenly passed, so unfortunately she didn’t get the chance to experience it. That

I received this food as part of the Chewy Possibilities program right after my dog suddenly passed, so unfortunately she didn’t get the chance to experience it. That meant I couldn’t test it on just one dog exclusively, but I did end up with a pretty good “field trial” by sharing the cans with my neighbors. We have a lot of dogs in the neighborhood—Labs, Goldens, doodles, a Bernedoodle, young dogs, seniors, you name it. Labs and Goldens will eat just about anything, but doodle types tend to be more discerning, and they ate it right up too. From a dog’s perspective, the food had all the right qualities—good smell, appealing texture, looked like “real” dog food. From my perspective, one of the things I liked was how it seemed to agree with the dogs’ stomachs. Any food needs a transition period, but sometimes you see immediate, dramatic GI reactions even from just a tablespoon. This wasn’t like that—results were very normal and mainstream across the board. All in all, the neighborhood panel gave it a paws up. Based on this trial, I’d say it’s a solid option worth trying.

All three of my dogs thoroughly enjoyed the Nutrish Gentle Digestion canned dog food. My Akita in particular has a very sensitive stomach and she went absolutely nuts for this canned dog food with no upset tummy afterwards. She is also a senior aged dog and I have been trying different types of canned dog food to mix with her kibble to soften it up for her teeth, but this is the first canned dog food that she seemed to really love. Overall this canned dog food is very palatable, great for my dog’s sensitive stomachs and a perfect option for senior dogs who need some softer foods mixed in.

Bucket, my dog, loves this canned dog food. He has to take some pills every day and this dog will pick a pill out and spit it out. I can’t even give it to him with peanut butter. But this Rachel Ray dog food to the rescue. He doesn’t take the time to try to find his pills in the canned dog food. He just eats it all up, pill and all. And the best part is that the food is very nutritious for him too!

I have an almost 13 year old Dachshund mix with few teeth and an issue with flatulence. He is also a very picky eater. He loved this food the first time he tried it. Ate it without stopping. It doesn’t stick to his teeth as far as I can tell, he usually rubs his face after eating and doesn't do it with this food. Also, he has not farted once since going on this food. I didn't ease him into it, either. I just switched him over and zero digestive issues.
