My dog has some mild stomach issues and is a little sensitive on top of being a little picky when it comes to food but she's large and eats a lot. This covers all the bases, including price per pound. It tastes good to her and doesn't upset her stomach. She's in a growth spurt and it's given her plenty of nutrition so she's not lacking in anything even as she's almost doubled in size this month. It's also helped maintain her coat and she's half poodle, so it's very important to me that her fur doesn't bother her.

All of the dogs liked the food and ate it without issue. Unfortunately, two of them developed GI issues--loose stools and accidents in the house--which resolved when they returned to their original brand food. A second trial had the same results, so we will stay with the Diamond Naturals for now. Both dogs have sensitive stomachs and one has a history of colitis that has been well controlled. We thought a change might be nice, but not worth upsetting two out of five tummies.

Sadly, the food is different and is no longer in large pieces

My dogs loved the “Big Life” large breed formula, but they don’t much care for the new version. I also was disappointed that the kibble pieces are now the same

My dogs loved the “Big Life” large breed formula, but they don’t much care for the new version. I also was disappointed that the kibble pieces are now the same as for small dogs. The big dogs (and the Scottish Terrier with the big teeth!) NEED the larger pieces because it helps remove tartar from their teeth! I have been mixing it with another food to get them to eat it.

Picky dog who's more picky after surgery.

My dog is somewhat picky and he ate some from my hand and then didn't walk away from the bowl until he finished. He suffered bloat and stomach flip early May and

My dog is somewhat picky and he ate some from my hand and then didn't walk away from the bowl until he finished. He suffered bloat and stomach flip early May and it's been hard to get him to eat his kibble since. This change for him made a difference. He also seems more alert especially for being a senior Dane.

Very disappointed!

I have bought this (before remake) all my dogs loved it. Had nice soft pieces, etc. but the kibbles were to big (was big life). She passed so I decided to buy it

There’s something about this food that did not agree with my dog. She developed immediate diarrhea after the first bowl (mixed with her old food to acclimate her

There’s something about this food that did not agree with my dog. She developed immediate diarrhea after the first bowl (mixed with her old food to acclimate her to it). She’s having bowel movements every 2-3 hours. This began within an hour of eating the first bowl of this food and nothing else has changed. Now I have to get a bag of her old food and toss this food out. Ugh.
