Nutro Natural Choice Adult Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food

This food priced jumped way too much. Even using chewy didnt make a difference. Everybody uses the excuse prices are high on ingredients but that's just an excuse to raise prices. I had to evaluate feeding it to my 3 large labs and so changed to another dog food... didn't realize my dogs were licking so much until I changed to another food. Nutro you lost a good customer.

Do Not Buy

It's not a good product. Our Goldendoodle had issues range from not wanting to eat it, had issues going potty, and light blood in her poop. We have not had any other problems w food besides this brand. It took us a long time to figure out her food was the main culprit for her problems. DO NOT BUY. I honestly can't believe the audacity Nutro had in raising prices. They should be under scrutiny, and someone should be looking into this pet food immediately.

Lucky Labs

Just rescued a 1 year old Lab. She is our 3rd Lab and we have fed all our girls this brand of dog food. They have all loved the taste, their coats are shiny and soft, and they have all been fit and trim. Love it!!

My dogs digestion has always been an issue we swapped to this for hopes he would do better and he has. Has anyone else been worried about the recall on NUTRO causing cardio issues? I have a senior and I swapped him 6 months ago and now I’ve seen reports of this happening. This is not a grain free dog food so I am hoping it’s safe.

Price is insane

We have been purchasing this food for years and years, but the price for a 30 lb bag has gone up by over $20 just since January of this year. I know inflation is real but a 35% increase in 4 months. That's not right.

Nutro

I have 3 older dogs. I wanted them to have something new. They liked it but it was too rich for them in the beginning. They have settled in and really like it. But that being said, I will not be buying it again. No fault of the product, just the age of my dogs.

Trainer Recommended

Our 2 year old goldendoodle has been eating the puppy version then the adult version of Nutro Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe dog food most of her life. A trainer recommended it because of the quality ingredients and lack of "fillers." Our dog loves it!

price increase outrageous

Our dog was pretty picky with his food and this Nutro seemed to do the trick, our Husky loves it. However the outrageous price increases on this food over that last year has hurt. Depending the size bag you get the price increase has been as much as 50 percent over the last year. I would give 5 stars because our dog loves it but with the current pricing not possible and will no longer refer the product to anyone. Some local stores in the area have stopped carrying this product because of the ridiculous cost. I will find another food that works for my dog and no longer order from chewy.

Nutro dogfood

I've been feeding my dogs Nutro National Choice for the passed 10+ years. They love it an it keeps there coats shining.

Okay...but

I switched to this food when Only Natural Red Meat Feast (RMF) was discontinued. While my dog eats it, it has disrupted her digestive system. She frequently has to go out in the middle of the night to poop--sometimes twice; she never did that on (RMF), she passes stinky gas, and her poop looks disgusting. Need to find a new product.
