This recipe contains Chicken Meal and Chicken Fat and is not recommended for a pet with an allergy to chicken.

What is chicken by-product meal? Your description says this Nutro does not contain "chicken by-product meal", but in the list of ingredients, chicken meal is the second ingredient? What if anything, is the difference?

This food does contain Chicken Meal, which is the dry rendered product from a combination of clean chicken flesh and skin with or without accompanying bone, derived from whole carcasses of chicken, exclusive of feathers, heads, feet and entrails. The Meal is used as a source of high protein. Nutro does not use chicken/poultry by-product meals in this recipe. By-products are the identified meat, plus some of the internal organs. An example of this would be chicken by-products, which would consist of chicken meat, plus some of the internal organs.

I used this food awhile back and wanted to try it again. This time one of my dogs would not eat it and the other one who did it, woke up in the middle of the night
