One of the things I look for in dog food for my dogs is the first ingredient being real meat. I like that the ingredients are non-GMO. These are the things that caught my attention while looking for weight management food for my dog. She is 109 lbs. and should be about 75-80 lbs. So weight management is now her normal. Since this is the first bag of this food, I cannot say how it is with weight management. For Taste so far she seems to like it, and I get puppy dog eyes because she wants more that the recommended.

Amazing

Was able to put this for two of my dogs. One of them has health issues with his liver and kidney is any can’t process high proteinand this is a very nice low protein

One of them has health issues with his liver and kidney is any can’t process high proteinand this is a very nice low protein and he’s an older dog so the Senior one is absolutely perfect for him they love the taste he hated the other kind so finally found this one that he actually enjoys and loves and trolls for it will be staying on this one with both of my dogs for the rest of their lives. Recommend recommend for any Senior Dog.

Excellent Food

I fed nothing but Nutro dry dog food to my English Bulldog from the time she was a puppy until her passing 13 years later. Anyone who is familiar with the English

I fed nothing but Nutro dry dog food to my English Bulldog from the time she was a puppy until her passing 13 years later. Anyone who is familiar with the English Bulldog breed knows that 13 years is an unusually long life. My girl NEVER had a case of diarrhea her entire life - except when she swallowed a large object causing an intestinal obstruction and had to have emergency surgery to remove 12” of her intestines. After that she never had any type of sickness again. I switched her to different types of Nutro, ( puppy, 3-5 year old, senior) according to her life stages. She was always healthy and maintained a proper weight throughout her life. I now have another English Bulldog who, following the breeder’s advice, started him on Purina Pro Plan. He developed terrible, chronic diarrhea when he was about 4 months old. I switched him to Nutro. He is 5 years old now and has never been sick or had a case of diarrhea. I can’t believe Nutro isn’t more widely available. My vet was unfamiliar with the brand and asked me to bring the bag in to her back when I had my first Bully. She read over the ingredients and said it was really good food and to keep using it. I will never switch again.

Great ingredients for both of my breeds

I needed a well balanced choice of food that would meet the needs of one of my dogs who need to lose weight and the other who has sensitive skin and often has upset

I needed a well balanced choice of food that would meet the needs of one of my dogs who need to lose weight and the other who has sensitive skin and often has upset tummy. They love this food and so far it seems to have settled my Frenchies tummy, my border collie that needs to lose weight. It will still take time to see but he really enjoys the food.
