This toy is not edible.

Warning Regarding Nylabone Power Chews

I’ve purchased these multiple times because both of my little Rat Terriers really enjoyed chewing on and plying with them. I replaced them every time the ends were

I’ve purchased these multiple times because both of my little Rat Terriers really enjoyed chewing on and plying with them. I replaced them every time the ends were chewed down. However, one of my dogs cracked a tooth while chewing one and we have to have it extracted. Luckily, I was with her when it happened. I heard a cracking sound and she jumped up startled, but didn’t yelp or whimper, so I wouldn’t have had any other indication that something happened until it got worse because she seemed fine otherwise. Just be mindful that these things can happen and be sure to check your dogs teeth regularly if you decide to use them. Unfortunately, we’ll have to find something else to keep them occupied because I don’t want to go through this again.

Not what I expected

When I had a dog 15 years ago, he loved Nylabones but they were more chewy. These are rock hard so I donated them to a rescue.
