This seems fine, but my puppy really wasn’t liking it. Now and then he’ll chew on it when he’s bored (and for a few minutes at most), but this is probably a toy that will be collecting dust. This was also my final attempt at buying Nylabone toys and probably won’t be buying more; my dog just doesn’t seem to like anything that they make for a strange reason. I wonder if it’s their “flavoring”?
politely accepted, dropped, and ignored

This does not remotely smell or taste like peanut butter. Yes, I washed and checked it. MY GP pup smelled it, looked at me like, really?, took it politely, turned his head, and dropped it in a hole. Where it still is, slowly getting covered with dirt. He says he much prefers the shovel handle I use to encourage snakes back under the barn.

I wish I could get my socks and shoes made out of this material so that I'd have no worry what so ever that my puppy would chew on them. As a puppy that plays with almost every toy I've showed her, I couldn't get her interested in this toy at all.
Buying more, he loves it!

Our puppy is teething and literally waits at the freezer for this toy specifically. Even when it’s not in there and he hears the freezer open he runs to it. We’re getting more to rotate through!
An addicting chew toy

This finally got my puppy teething on something that wasn't my fingers!! I never put it on the freezer like some other reviews suggest, but it does just fine at room temperature. Not sure how peanut butter flavored it is though.
Firm chew toy

Goid chew toy but needs monitoring as if you own an aggressive chewer- some pieces can be bitten off. Mine doesn't eat them but I don't think small amounts would be harmful for large breeds.
My GSD not thrilled with it- had one before- but she prefers real bones- which "I" don't, so wish she took to it better... but it's hard and challenging- good for their desire to gnaw.
It's a little pliable but not Soft.
Smaller in person than in pic.
Best toy for 8 week old puppy!
on Mar 6, 2021
My 8 week old golden LOVES this! We wet the whole toy and put it in the freezer. It calms her down when she's super hyper and she chews on it for like 10-15 minutes straight... which is a long time for a young pup to concentrate on anything! It's a godsend in the mornings haha. She loves it so much that I'm actually ordering another one for if/when she destroys the first. The bone isn't super sturdy so it wouldn't be good for older puppies because it would be chewed to pieces quickly, but for very young pups I highly recommend this!!
Great teething toy

My now 8 week golden retriever enjoys chewing on this toy. It keeps him entertained and is a great toy for a teething pup that wants to chew on everything.

I thought this was going to be soft, well it isn’t. It is hard and heavy not something I would normally get for a Shih Tzu. I really think they need to get a teething soft durable ring. This item came up when I filtered down to small dog but really this would be something for a larger dog with bigger mouth and teeth. I left it with three stars because regardless the dog does like it but it is a bit heavy for him and not something easily thrown and him to retrieve.
A Favorite Chew Toy
on Apr 10, 2021
Our 3 month old pup wants to chew on everything! This is one of his favorite toys. I offer it as a distraction when he shows interest in the furniture. The nubs seem to hit right where he needs to alleviate teething pain.
