This is a good water/food bowel it can hang on the ruinks of the cage. comes in two sizes easy to clean and makes the cage playpen more comfortable for your cats with the litter makes it grat for them to be safe when you need to use it.
I would rate it a 0 if it was an option. I picked the middle size bowl, but it was teensy tiny. Holds almost nothing. Cat can barely get their face into the bowl. The description said two couldn't fit on the side of the crate. 3 or more could easily fit because they were so small. Very disappointed in this ridiculously expensive for what it turned out to be product.
I needed a small water bowl for the wire crates I use to travel with my dogs (Eskies) and these worked perfectly. We did zip tie the holder to the crate and only filled the bowl halfway during driving. Was just what we needed. Lightweight yet durable.
bought these for use in a foster cat enclosure. they need a zip tie to hold them onto the kennel wire and are a bit on the narrow size. ok for kittens or small cats, but those with bigger or wider heads will have trouble getting the food at the bottom.
Wish I had bought one or two sooner. These can help reduce spills and tip overs and are easy to keep clean. I like to hang them above a shelf in our kittie condo. The sides may too high for small, young baby animals who are just starting to eat using a dish.
I wish I could submit a video so you can see how flawed this design is. With just the slightest pressure the entire unit slips right off. This includes a dogs chin touching or gently pressing the container. You can see in the picture how it barely goes over the bar and it is curved so it slips right off. These are not usable at all unfortunately.
This bowl is a good size and is easy to fill and clean. It does seem to flip easily. We use it in a kennel for kittens. It does hook to the side easily but the bowl is not super secure in the ring. For the cost though it is great. It serves its purpose and the bowl seems sturdy but definitely for use with small birds. I would think bigger birds or other animals it would be too easy to tip and remove.
These are probably better suited for a rabbit or other small animal, I got these for my cats playpen thinking they would be great space savers (which they totally are) however my cat knocks them down and makes a mess.
Received bowl yesterday and tried it overnight while my 20 pound dog was kenneled. I woke to a mess. The bowl was spilled, metal hanger removed from kennel door and water everywhere. I noticed the metal piece that hangs on the kennel is not secure but hoped it would hold as my dog is a senior and not active in his kennel. I don't know if my dog knocked it off or 1 of the curious cats did it. I will try hanging it in a different location in the kennel. It will likely require some adjustments with pliers and someone stronger than I am to bend the metal holder to fit more securely to the kennel. The bowl is also thin and will not hold up to a chewer/rambunctious puppy. Ok product for the price but needs a little improvement.
Very weakly attached together, ring snapped off holder
