Ethical Pet Stainless Steel Coop Cup Wire Hanger Kennel Pet Bowl

Unfortunately I was looking forward to this product because I have a lab/Weimaraner mix that is a massive chewer when she’s in her kennel. She has destroyed every other bowl I have gotten because they were all plastic so I bought this one with high hopes that she wouldn’t be able to chew it up which she didn’t and that is the only reason it is getting stars. The product does not stay on the kennel sides and is easily knocked off. I even attempted to take pliers to it to try and tighten it around the bars but did not succeed at that. I will not be recommending this product to any of my dog owner friends.

We have five dogs, they have to be crated to eat as some are food hogs and others eat more slow and without urgency. When I saw these bowls I thought BINGO! No more crawling into the crates to retrieve bowls after meals. Boy was I wrong. The bowl does not secure to its hanging fixture making it easily tipped right out. The hooks are not positioned properly to stay on the crate bars causing them to fall right off and the welding of the hoop to the hooks was nonexistent on one side of 3/5 of the bowls I ordered making the bowls easily slip through the hoop. I wanted to like these, I praised the saving of my back from crawling into those crates but it’s the same problem with these unfortunately. I was really hoping this would be a good way to leave my puppy woth water in her kennel. But she keeps knocking it off and spilling water everywhere because she wants to sleep with her head propped up on the bowl.

This is a good product but because it has to hang off a bar in the crate, the animal has to be big enough to drink at least at the level of the first horizontal bar in the crate. I am fostering 2 fairly tall 5 month old kittens and they are just tall enough to utilize this bowl.

I thought these would be perfect for my crates. Problem is they do not connect well to the crate. So my dogs are always knocking them down and spilling their water and food.

The bowl is a bit on the small size, but that is my fault. I do use it, and this is a dog that likes to tear up her crate, so, I normally find the bowl upside down on the crate floor. She dumped all that were not attached, so she figured out how to do this one in as well. Will keep on trying, and yes, I do recommend it for small dogs.

I planned on using this cup to hang on a wire dog cage temporarily housing rescued kittens, but unfortunately, it didn't hang properly on the cage. I either had to hang it higher than what the kittens could reach or basically on the floor of the cage. The wire grid just didn't match up, that's all. I would have preferred that the hanger be designed better to attach more securely. I ended up taping the bracket to the wire cage so I could use it. Kittens are way too active for this pet bowl to stay in place. They knocked it over every time, so I had to discontinue using it. It it's used for birds, no problem. Kittens? Big problem lol

I ordered this product with the capacity of at least 3 cups as the product states. It barely holds one. Very disappointed in this product. I have kennels and I only ordered one to make sure this would be a good fit. Glad I did not buy all 15 at one time.

We have cats that are having to be caged to be safe from dogs... these were perfect to keep them above litter throwing territory and still be accessible.

This bowl is a great size and durable of course, but it never stays on the kennel and the dogs spilled their water every time trying to take a drink. If it gets bumped it water goes everywhere, not sure how others do not have this issue since I tried numerous placements with a big and small dog.
