How dark does this get? Trying to block out the sight of lightning

This cover does not block out lighting. There is space between some of the sides that allow light to get through.

4.5 stars - almost perfect

I had my doubts about this cover when I initially ordered it. However, it’s turned out to be a pretty good fit for my puppy. She’s a German shepherd, so the lighter weight material keeps the light and heat out without causing her to feel hot in her crate. I had considered the canvas crate cover, also, but glad I opted for this one. The fit is perfect if used with the Frisco 42” crate. My only critique is that the snaps are a bit counterintuitive when you want to roll up a panel. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with my purchase!

Not the Best

Maybe it's because I bought the "Frisco Heavy Duty" crate instead of the regular one, but this barely fit. I was disappointed because I thought because they were made by the same brand, it would fit the corresponding size perfectly. I ended up buying a third party one that fits so much better, and even had ties to keep it in place. This wasn't a win for us.

Stylish and practical

This cover fits our kennel/crate very nicely. It looks great in the rooms Which is important since it's in our living room. I like that I can roll up the side in warmer weather. It will be great if both sides rolled up. But I knew that when I ordered it. So no complaints.

Perfect for our crate. Our dog loves it and feels at home! It’s great at blocking out light, is stylish to cover our crate in the kitchen, and the measurements were accurate. Very happy with the purchase

Great cover for enforcing naps

We used to cover our crate with 3 towels each time we wanted our puppy to take a nap. Immediately picked this up when I saw it and it's been so much easier to put our puppy to sleep. Nice feature is that there are two flaps for the two-door frisco crate so you could even leave it on after you open the doors (if your dog doesn't pull it off right away)

Functional and not an eye sore

We moved our dog's crate into our sunroom as it's her favorite room, but we wanted to provide her with some shade so she doesn't overheat. There's a lot of crate covers that are kind of ugly and others that have loud patterns. We wanted something neutral and simple and this does the trick. Selected the solid color so it doesn't clash with other decor in the room. Easy to get on and works great.

perfect fit

I have been covering my dog’s crate with a sheet and blanket for quite a while to help keep her feeling secure in her home. She has had problems in the past with eating fabrics and I haven’t found the cause of this, but think it may be stress. After a stressful day of new training for her, she managed to pull the corner of the blanket into her crate while I was at work and started chewing at it, which of course cause a panic for me. I wanted a more fitted cover for her crate so she wouldn’t be able to do this again. This cover fits perfectly! Slipped right over without any fuss and is seamless around the edges! Very pleased with our upgrade!

This is a must buy!!!

We were using blankets/towels to cover our dog's crate. Every day he would take the blankets/towels off and drag them all over the house. It was such a pain! This is a total game changer. He doesn't mess with it at all! He's a 10 month old Portuguese Water Dog.

Looks and fits great!

I was using a blanket to cover my puppies kennel and decided to look for a cover instead as the blanket would be better used for the puppy to lay on...after looking it up on Chewy.com, I decided to buy it as it was a good price. Looks and fits great! I only wish that it could be attached at the bottom of the kennel also as my puppy likes to try to pull it off. Otherwise a great product!!!

Perfect fit and coverage

I ordered this cover for my dog after she managed to pull the sheet/blanket I had been using into her crate and chewed them up (which had happened in the past and caused major medical issues). This crate cover fits perfectly and there are no edges she can get ahold of. Provides perfect coverage to make her feel secure!
