Great for dogs with digestive issues

My dog has digestive issues and can't eat many things. He loves these treats and they ate great for digestion so win, win. I tear them in half and use them as training

My dog has digestive issues and can't eat many things. He loves these treats and they ate great for digestion so win, win. I tear them in half and use them as training treats and he gets a big slice at bedtime each night. He runs right to his crate because he knows his pumpkin treat is coming.

A great snack or topper for a picky dog with IBD!

Both of my dogs have IBD, one eats everything and anything, the other is very picky... Finding a treat or meal topper that won't aggravate their condition has been SO challenging. I've found that both pumpkin and sweet potato are an appealing healthy snack for them, plus it helps to bulk up the stool. *The key (esp. for dogs missing teeth or with IBD) is to soak them in warm/hot water for 20-30m. This will make them more digestible, esp for our furry friends with gut issues. Otherwise, if these are fed dry and hard, they may be challenging to digest and 'could' upset the tummy. About every three days, I cut up a bunch of pieces into smaller pieces, and soak these in a tiny small glass container with boiling hot water. Once cool, I then refrigerate the sweet potato pieces in one container, and the liquid/broth in another. The broth can be used on top of dry food, or just as special treat. They both LOVE it, especially my pickiest eater! I soak enough to last three days, then repeat. You could do this with dehydrated sweet potato chips too.

Great quality, good nutrition!

I have two big dogs and I’m always trying to find them quality nutritional products since their health and weight is especially important considering their joints

I have two big dogs and I’m always trying to find them quality nutritional products since their health and weight is especially important considering their joints and breed tendency towards hip issues. I love that is literally JUST pumpkin. Literally nothing else! I don’t have to worry about extra chemicals or preservatives and that makes me feel good about giving it to them. One of my dogs devoured these instantly and the other took a little more convincing to try it. These are air dried so they are a little chewy which is great because it keeps them busy for more a little longer than other treats. There are some pieces that broke that are too small to give as treats so I use them as toppers on their dinner food and that is a big hit! Overall, I would get this again because my dogs like it and it’s good for them!
