This is the best sinking pellet I've found for my dojo loaches. The stick-like shape is easier for them to eat than circular pellets, and they seems to digest them well with no bloating.
I have a 10 gallon aquarium with one betta and 3 catfish (I believe they are Pepper Cory?). I had been using just the betta flakes and sometimes the catfish would quickly swim to the top to grab a mouthful or after the flakes sunk to the gravel in the bottom of the tank, the catfish would find them there. I noticed these pellets on Chewy one day and decided to give them a try. They sink immediately to the bottom and the catfish love them! As with all tropical fish food, do not overfeed. Give just a few pellets at a time until you figure out how many your catfish need. If you overfeed, you may get an "oily" film on the top of your aquarium water, especially if you overfeed regularly.
My pygmy salt and peppers can be picky but they love this stuff. Anything the corydoras don't gobble up the malaysian trumpet snails get right to cleaning. They don't soften so much that it gets spread around, so the snails make short work of the leftovers.
I've tried many pellet diets for my catfish, this is the only one they eat consistently. The ingredients are quality, it's affordable, and I have had many corydoras spawn on this food.
I have a cory cat only 20 long tank. I bought these specifically for them because these pellets are supposed to sink. They don't! After floating on top of the water for 10 minutes I removed them. I tried pushing them down into the water too. They just bobbed back up to the surface. I bought these pellets to vary my corys' diets. Total waste of money. I'm sticking with other brands from now on. No more Omega One purchases for me.
Takes forever to sink to bottom by that time they are mush and dirty the tank water will not purchase again
Unfortunately none of the pellets hardly sink. So not much good for my catfish. Maybe I just got a bad batch.
They've literally been sitting at the top of my tank for 20 minutes. Massive waste of money.
The product itself works wonderfully no health issues with the animals at all but it's not cost-effective any longer as they only sell the two ounce container please bring back the 8 ounce container! It's forced me to split my chewy orders considerably having to go to local pet stores when my preference has always been chewy their customer service is better the shipping speed is great, this is literally my only issue
I’m am pleased with this item my corydoras am one khloach love them I put 4 in an they were all gone in 3-4 hours, it’s very healthy for you fishy friends an they sink instantly. I’m glad I got these. Omega one is the only food I buy for my fishy friends due to no fish meal. I highly recommend this product.
