Recommended to feed shrimp?
Answer by ChewyJun 30, 2021
Omega One Super Veggie Green Seaweed Algae Grazer Fish Food can be enjoyed by all algae grazers.

Would this be ok for my sea urchin???
Answer by ChewyJan 01, 2019
This 100% natural seaweed is safe for all algae grazers.

Could a golden mystery snail eat this ?
Answer by ChewyJan 04, 2018
This product would be suitable for a Golden Mystery Snail as their diet may consist of tropical tablets, shrimp pellets and algae wafers.

Can these be left in the tank for a couple of days, without making the tank disgusting? We are going on vacation and I want to make things easier for our pet sitter (she will be watching 18 animals and 7 tanks for 14 days!).
Answer by ChewyJul 21, 2017
We recommend only leaving the seaweed in your fish tank for a few hours. I would say no longer than 8 hours or it begins to deteriorate. Breaking smaller pieces off makes it easier for it to be fully consumed, and not have to remove it.

My pond fish LOVED this!

I have 2 outdoor ponds and a total of 28 various types of goldfish (comets, fantails, common, wakins and shebunkins). We love these friendly fish as they’ve been part of our family for decades (many are in their twenties and the oldest is about 28 years old). Goldfish and koi love greens and they are very nutritious component in their diet. Sadly, I’ve had to remove most plants from my ponds (except a few in floating containers) as I couldn’t keep up the pace to find good homes for the several dozen youngsters who survived hiding in plants every year. When I saw Omega One’s Super Veggie Green Seaweed, I had to try it to offer my finned friends some healthy greens. I feed it by cutting up a sleeve into approx. 1/2” pieces and toss it in the ponds. My fish happily devour it! I have now added it to their menu twice a week. Happy fish!

sea urchin food

I break up strips, get them moist and feed them to my pincushion urchin. It’s a great supplement if you have little algae growing. However I cannot get my sail-fin tang to try a bite.

Really Messy!

I thought my otos would love these, but they would rather have spinach or lettuce leaves. Plus these are really are messy! They fall apart and leave green flakes every where in the tank. I won't buy them again!

Algae Glazers favorite

My saltwater fish love it , it doesn't ' melt " in water like some brands and it's not easily shredded too.

Great for fresh and salt water

They smelled like fresh seaweed when I opened the box. I wasn’t expecting it because whenever I bought these from somewhere else they didn’t have a smell at all. Both my freshwater and saltwater fish love this as a snack.

This stuff must taste really good

This is a suppliment to our regular feeding of brine shrimp. We drop half a sheet in nightly for our 5 Gouramis and 2 Plecos. They all anticipate it and it is never wasted. Hard to find locally on regular basis

My plecos and fish

All of my fish love it! It’s a bit stinky but it clears up quickly.
