Decent, but flimsy
By Lillia on Jan 13, 2021
I have four of these now, and one of them just recently broke under pressure at the base... from use by a small 8-9lb cat. The other three are still holding steady, but I'm expecting another to get snapped in two again pretty soon. Also, not a big issue, but sometimes you get a nice neutral color (three of them), but you may also get a strong weird color that doesn't look good in your decor (dark green with black lines). Don't know if I'll be buying these again in the future.

Won’t buy again
By Kiki on Feb 11, 2021
When I received this, it was a different color than I requested. I wanted the gray one and ended up getting red. It also not stable, if my cats attempt to scratch on it falls forward. I have lean it against something to keep it from falling down

Base is too light.
By Honesty2021 on Feb 27, 2021
Base is too light and tips ove when cats try to scratch. They gave up on it. It is also too short but the scratching material seems good.

cant won’t use
By hdusiwnsh827463828 on Nov 19, 2020
Fits great up against the corners of my new couch. But she won’t go near them . Literally scratches next to the scratch post on my new couch . same with the scratch carpet pad thing that hangs on door knob . Clueless as to what it is or for . So annoying. I’ve ordered yarn to wrap them with to see if that will attract her . She has a scratch post that she will use with the yarn around it. Hopefully it works cause I don’t want to result in declawing her

Not yet sure

Honey Bear has refused to use it. I think the big base may be scaring her. I have removed it....now we will see

Versatile and limited
By Lanth21 on Nov 6, 2020
It’s base shape and light weight work well to protect the front of furniture from being used as a scratching post; however, those same attributes make it ineffective as a stand alone piece in the upright position. It works best when laid down in the horizontal position.

We love these!
By Maggie on Jun 22, 2020
My cat loves these! She's a carpet picker so she gravitated to these over the cardboard scratchers, and so I bought several! And it has reduced her carpet-picking. I can't say if it helps with furniture scratching because she's never destroyed couches, etc.

Item is fine, my cats are picky
By Shelby on Apr 18, 2020
The post itself is fine, although I do wish it was weighted slightly better as I had to tuck it under something to keep it standing still. Unfortunately, my cats refuse to use it. They're fans of cardboard posts, but have recently started scratching my floor carpet, so I thought this would be a nice change. Nope, no one has touched it in 6 months. Darn cats.

Does not stand under pressure
By Peri on Feb 26, 2020
I tried to show my cat how to use it, she began to claw it and it fell on top of her, it does not stand on its own when being pulled by claws. If I want to use it, I will have to secure it to something that won't fall over when she claws it.
