A little stiff

This leash isn't as soft as I was hoping but I think with wear it'll become softer like a pair of shoes

Hardy Leash

Great leash for training my dogs! Nice quality, breaks in nicely and looks beautiful. Hardware seems safe and secure. Holds up well to my reactive young GSD and feels great in my hands!

soft and flexible

Use only latigo leather leashes. Had to replace one that was 25 years old. They are soft on the hands, which makes it easy to control a large dog if he/she pulls.

Love love love

I love these leashes. I originally bought one for my 7 year old husky that I’d adopted and after seeing how well it worked, I decided to purchase one for my border collie who’s 9 months and has a lot of puppy energy. The leashes are very comfortable to hold and gives you a lot of control. Interestingly enough because the pull on the leash is so distinct to each dog, I can tell which leash belongs to which dog. For example I had accidentally grabbed Logan’s leash instead of Bear’s leash one night when I was walking Bear(the border collie) and within a few minutes into the walk I knew it was the wrong leash just by the way the leather responded when he pulled.

Beautiful leash

I ordered this for my black std poodle puppy. She is 32# at 5 months and needs a sturdy leash for control as she is very bouncy and this leash is just right. Leather is thick and hardware seems of good quality. It looks stunning with her thick black coat. Very pleased with this selection.

Love the Leash

It is hard to find good quality leather leashes. I bought two so the dogs could have matching ones. At least in all the other places I looked. I grew up on a ranch, handling saddles and bridles, so I appreciate leather. These leashes need neatsfoot oil or saddle soap, but will last for years. The brass snap is also something I really wanted. Very happy with the leashes.

It arrived very stiff and is pretty bulky when working with my dog. Will probably be looking for a replacement and this leash will become a back up.

Love our leashes

We were looking for leashes for our Welsh Terrier pups and couldn’t find what we wanted. We looked on Chewy and there they were, perfect a black and a brown just right! They are sturdy and real leather and well made!
