What are the measurements not including handles?

These bags measures 7 inches wide with gusseted sides that expand, and 9.25 inches long from below the handles.
What are these bags made of? It says polyester in the description so that means they are not plant-based or biodegradable?

They are USDA Certified Biobased, and blended with TDPA technology from Environmental Products Inc. Bags contain at least 38% plant material.

Inconvenient loose bags. Who wants these?

Wish I'd understood these do not come in rolls. Instead it's just a pile of loose bags. Maybe okay for someone who needs to go clean up their backyard, but not for people who need something to carry along on walks. I bought them because they are the only ones on Chewy that are clearly described as being biodegradable. Help! What bags are both biodegradable and convenient?

Won't buy again

They are not as deep as 'normal' dog poop bags (maybe because of the handle.) Because of that I got dog poo on my hand two of the first few times I used them. I also used two bags a couple times to not get 'dirty'. My dog is 70 pounds, so poos are a good size, but not that big... Also, I don't like that they are not in rolls.

Love these for my Cat Box!

I use these to clean out the cat box. They are a perfect size and are compostable! I feel much better every time I use them. And you get a lot in a box - they last me a while.

does not meet composting standards.

If you live in California you may notice that these bags do not ship here. This is because California legislation provides that any plastic products sold in the State and labelled as compostable, marine degradable or home compostable may only do so if they meet the applicable ASTM standard or have Vincotte OK Compost Home certification. Clearly these do not meet that standard and potentially misleading how compostable they truly are.

Great buy!

I wanted to find baggies that would be convenient but not excessively wasteful. I am glad that I found these Poop Bags! They are made of vegetable oils and support the Jane Goodall Foundation. I have these on autoship!

They scoop the poop without harming the environment

I was afraid these would leak because they feel thinner than the so-called "earth rated" plastic bags I used to use. But they take up less room in my pocket, hold everything securely, AND the smell doesn't get out like before, because they are a little more flexible and the single knot seals tighter. Also, it's easy to separate the bags to open them and to get them our of the dispenser box. The only thing earthy about the old bags was that the box was made from recycled cardboard. These are too, but the bags break down and work better in the meantime. Win-win.

Love these bags. They seem wider than others and are loose bags, not on rolls.
