Sharp bits
This variety of Orijen treats were a very different texture than the Original flavor. These are hard and crusty and the majority of treats have sharp strand like bits coming out the ends that I was afraid to even feed my cat for fear it might poke her mouth or scratch her throat. Even the bits that don't have sharp edges, she is not interested in but loves the Original flavor.
Would not touch
Had hoped my 2 cats would like this, as one of them is allergic to chicken. Nope. Would not touch.
Best freeze-dried treats
These are the best freeze-dried treats I’ve tried. They’re softer than others, and they don’t become crumbly as easily. If one is too long it easily breaks in half, but the size is usually perfect. They also don’t smell strong at all like a lot of others do. I give my cat these and the Tundra variety and he loves them! Even compared to cheaper treats he goes crazy over these (I have to move them to a hard container or he’ll tear open the bag).
