Loaded with shrimp - my dogs are obsessed

This is a dry food that is also packed with freeze dried whole shrimp - I was amazed at how much shrimp was actually in it when I opened the bag and it smells like fish (in a good way)! We recently tried out this dry food for our two girls, Nova (weimar/lab) and Nebula (mastiff mix), and they frankly loved it. Let me be clear, these two would eat anything but Nova, my typically perfectly behaved old lady, got so excited for this food that she jumped up and knocked the bowl clear out of my hand. She did not care that the kibble had been strewn about the room, she snarfed it up and usually she turns her nose up at eating off the floor. We were initially mixing with their previous food but the girls liked it so much that I may continue to spoil them with this food.

Wild Reserve dog food

I was very excited to try this dog food, we have a chicken allergy which is hard to find alternatives but this one seemed to fit the bill. Out of the bag this food

I was very excited to try this dog food, we have a chicken allergy which is hard to find alternatives but this one seemed to fit the bill. Out of the bag this food does not have the strong fish smell some others have, the nuggets are all uniform in size and color, no excess dust and crumbs, and the perfect size for my medium sized dogs. There are freeze dried shrimp very noticeably thru out the bag. Both my dogs love the food, they pick out the shrimp first and eat the rest. The only issue I have is I’m slowly adding it to their current food and as soon as I get to 1/4+ cup their stools get very mushy. No other GI symptoms. It’s been 2-3 weeks and no change. They do seem to love the food. I think I will try using it for training treats for a while and see how that goes.

My boys have been big fans of Orijen’s treats so I figured I’d give their food a shot. Good call because they LOVE it. It does for sure have a very fish scent to it (Shout out to the easy reseal). You can tell there’s a ton of real fish in the recipe as soon as you open the bag. There’s even tiny little shrimps in the kibble. They’re eating better than me! Solid, healthy and a little fancy with the shrimps. Pupper approved!

My 5 dachshunds have always had a fish based diet so this product fit right in. They are not picky eaters so I cannot judge a product solely on their ravenous behavior

My 5 dachshunds have always had a fish based diet so this product fit right in. They are not picky eaters so I cannot judge a product solely on their ravenous behavior. Orijen is a well respected brand and the list of their ingredients is impressive. This bag contained small pieces of freeze dried shrimp. The smell of fish ingredients was present but not overpowering. I am a firm believer of researching a brand and buying the best that you can afford.

This is an above par kibble with lots of great seafood ingredients, even has dehydrated shrimp included. No chicken products at all which is great for dogs with allergies. Unfortunately gave it a 4 just because my girl won’t go near it but she is very very picky with her food and doesn’t eat much. I would recommend this food to anyone especially if your dog likes seafood, first thing you smell when you open!

This is a fantastic dog food. My English Mastiff has food allergies and digestive issues. She loves this food. I started slowly giving her pieces as a treat and she loved them. I began mixing this in with her regular food and she devoured it. She has had no digestive issues at all. There are real pieces of shrimp in the food and medium size kibble. The food does have a strong fish smell but with real piece of shrimp in the food, I'm not surprised. I highly recommend this food.

Where do I even begin with this amazing food? My two picky dogs are in love and immediately began eating this as soon as it was introduced. I love that it contains a ton of real fish ingredients. The fact that there are actual shrimp morsels is really impressive. I try to feed really good food to my dogs but they always seem to get sick of it but they haven’t gotten sick of this. The price is high but you can see and feel why to know it’s actually justified.

We are existing Orijen customers. When I saw this new variety with added shrimp I was immediately interested in upgrading their food. Both of my picky Australian Terriers seemed to really enjoy the Wild Reserve (their favorite flavor is the Orijen Six Fish.) The kibble size is appropriate for their 20lb size. I appreciate the high percentage of meat vs filler ingredients and feel good feeding my dogs a high quality brand I can trust made in the USA.

I'm so impressed with the ingredients in this food. Something you can feel proud feeding your pets. There is no doubt it has fish in it. 1st you can see plenty of little freeze-dried shrimp but the whole bag smells like fish. I had no doubt my dogs would love it and they do. The food is pricey but you are getting your moneys worth knowing you are feeding your pets good. I follow Dog Food Advisor for my pups diet and they give this diet a 5 which is the best rating.
