The description says that it is made without nylon and is a “wood blend” but then when you read the more detailed materials it says it has nylon. My dog was chewing on it and then it made him throw up several times due to the plastic he was ingesting. Would not recommend and I would encourage the description to be re-written to not mislead other buyers.

My dogs love this! The reason it is not rated 5 stars is they were able to start getting pretty large chunks off of this quickly, so I had to throw it away after only a week. They are not heavy chewers and still went through it pretty fast.

This is the cutest little mushroom chew toy! I love the design, but my Aussie took a bit to figure out how to hold it. Eventually, he realized to hold the top of the mushroom with his paws and chew at the stem. He loves the peanut butter scent too! It's his favorite and he couldn't start chewing it fast enough. He's around 50 pounds and the medium size was just about the right size for him. Maybe a little small, but he still enjoyed it! There's grooves on the mushroom to help with teeth cleaning, but I'm not sure how much they helped. The toy was chewing up pretty quickly, as you can see in the photo. He had it for about 10 minutes. The toy has real wood in it and as he chewed, I could see small rice grain size pieces coming off. My Aussie is a tough chewer and was going through this pretty fast for a chew toy. I think this would be perfect for less aggressive chewers and it's a better alternative to real sticks!
