What is the strings coming out of the ball what is it made of

The materials used in the Enriched Life Loco Ball are rattan, food-safe colors, sisal, and jute.

I bought a loco ball for my rabbit. The bunny dropped the ball in water and the water turned black. What is this dye? I don’t want to poison my bunny.

The Enriched Life Loco Balls are made with rattan, food-safe colors, sisal, and jute. The dark color you are experiencing is likely caused by the blue, green, and orange food-safe dyes mixing together in the water. The dyes are perfectly safe for your rabbit. As these dyes are water-soluble, as you have noticed, we recommend keeping your toy away from any water to preserve the colors.
