Not sure yet!

I gave this product only four stars because we have not been using it long enough to determine actual results. But I use Oxyfresh products for myself, and I quite love the brand. My kitty cats Titmouse and Sparrow seem to tolerate it very well, and I'm happy we are brushing their teeth. They are only two years old, but I know from experience you have to start early! I'll keep you posted, but so far, so good! Xxx X

Cats don't mind it

My cats are never excited about having their teeth brushed and it's a new experience but they aren't not bothered by the taste of this dental gel. It doesn't have a horrible smell which is something I was worried about after reading reviews of other products. It has caused my cats any irritation or issues at all. I just put a little on a small brush and put it on my cats teeth and gums. I never thought I would be doing this but one of my cats, I adopted, already had plaque build up on her teeth at the time of adoption. I've used different types of dental treats, which weren't effective, and eventually decided to give brushing a try. So far, so good

They hate the taste.

I wanted to wait a week to use the product before writing a review. But they hate the smell and taste. It was a struggle to get it in their mouth. They run away at the smell of it also. I wish there was one with a delicious smell that was just as effective so they would think it was a treat. Unfortunately I probably won't be using it because they probably think I'm punishing them if I force them to use it.

Oxyfresh Dental Gel

My cat doesn’t love it but tolerates it. I like it because I can just rub it on his gums and teeth and he does the rest.

He ran so far away...

Wanted to test out a different toothpaste for our cat, and from the moment the gel touches his mouth, he fled and looked at me in betrayal. The second attempt was futile. Away it goes into the cabinet.

May not be safe for cats

I was curios what the first two ingredients in the Oxyfresh Dental Gel - carrageenan and stabilized chlorine dioxide - were and after doing some research, I am not comfortable using the product. I am also not comfortable with the Oxyfresh water additive. I would not recommend either product.

Used on dog and cat for a long time!

I could never speak for my cat, but I use it on him, too. My dog really enjoys getting his teeth brushed with this. He wants to lick the brush after I stop brushing. Recent vet check said the teeth look great. Using pea size or smaller, and tube lasts a long time. They even have fresh breath when you finish. With a little effort, you can avoid expensive vet bills for dental!

Great product

Really takes care of the stinky breath and I love that I can apply it with a paper towel and don't have to brush.

Great Product

Our dog has teeth and gums problems and this has been a real blessing, for him and us. His breath is 200 per cent better and he is acting like a puppy again. Helps with any discomfort they are having and also makes it so you can love on them and not be over come by bad breath. He doesn't mind the taste as with others I have tried. You can put the toothpaste on with a brush or finger. Mine prefer using my finger. You will not be disappointed, great improvement even after first use. Can't afford teeth cleaning this is the solution!
