This brush is pretty good. My cat sheds a lot due to skin issues, and this brush picks it up amazingly. We were using a regular wire brush and that was fine. When

This brush is pretty good. My cat sheds a lot due to skin issues, and this brush picks it up amazingly. We were using a regular wire brush and that was fine. When I stroked him a couple times with the Ozark brush, I was amazed at the amount of hair that was coming out with just a few passes. Great for fluffy cats that don’t have super long and prone to mating hair. I wish it came with a reusable, hard protector for the bristles as they feel pretty sharp.

It was amazing all the hair I was missing

I have never had a long hair cat before and was happy that she liked to be groomed. Every day, sometimes twice a day. But i would still find hair balls all over

I have never had a long hair cat before and was happy that she liked to be groomed. Every day, sometimes twice a day. But i would still find hair balls all over my house. She even threw a couple of them up. Then i ordered this grooming tool. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! But remember that your cat has delicate skin. Don't use much pressure. I only use it about one to two times a week as needed. And if your cat wants to stop, then stop. I keep it in the box it came in and when i take it out she feels like she's getting something special. Please make sure you read all the directions. You may want to keep your reg brush when not using this.

This is 100% the best desheding tool I've ever tried. From a short haired hound all the way to a densely coated Husky, the rake end works so well for getting loose

This is 100% the best desheding tool I've ever tried. From a short haired hound all the way to a densely coated Husky, the rake end works so well for getting loose coat out without the pulling, scratching, or hair breakage of typical desheding combs. The fine-tooth end is also great for right at the end to clean up any leftover loose hairs, or for sections of compacted coat on a short haired dog (like next to the tail or on the shoulders)

Gets through that coat

Lionel is a long haired cat. That coat is very thick and hard to brush. I had one for my corgi.. Works well for thick and double coats!!

Great grooming tool for a small yeti

We have a long haired cat whose fur is fine and thick. With other brushes we have been able to keep the mat level down to small and occasional. But this brush has

We have a long haired cat whose fur is fine and thick. With other brushes we have been able to keep the mat level down to small and occasional. But this brush has cleaned up our yeti's fur much better than before. He finds it gentle, and enjoys it. Note we are not using it on a fully matted cat. This new brush/comb pulls out surprising amounts of loose fur. And even if we don't get to him every day, he still looks and feels brushed. We may have to stop calling him yeti, he looks so civilized. We haven't found a use for the fine comb side of the tool. Once we have brushed our guy with the curved side, the fine comb side doesn't catch anything additional.
