How much liquid can a pad hold? And how often (or after how much liquid) is it recommended to wash them?

I use the 41" x 41" for my adult male Saint Bernard and it easily holds his urine. While the pad can hold urine from two uses when necessary, I choose to replace the used pad with a clean one and wash them after each use because he likes to lay on the pads and I want him to always have a clean pad. Consequently, I have a supply of several pads so I can change them out as needed.

Do this pad have a special scent to make the dog pee here? I wanted to use this under the pen just in case they have an accident not a place they want to pee.

These Dog Pads do not have an attractant to make your dog pee on the pad.

What are the actual dimensions? The photo says 41”x41” but the description says 11”x16”

The dimensions to these pads vary based on the size. For a complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Description” tab, just under the product photos. The X-Large measures 32 (Length) x 30 (Width) inches, the X-Large Long measures 34 (Length) x 22 (Width) inches, the XX-Large measures 41 (Length) x 41 (Width) inches, XXX-Large measures 60 (Length) x 48 (Width) inches, and the XXXX-Large measures 72 (Length) x 72 (Width) inches.

My dog likes to chew. Has anyone had problems with their dog chewing up the pads?

Typically once the washable pad is used successfully as a pee pad then the dog will associate it as a place to pee and not play. It is not recommended to allow your pet to chew the pad.

I bought this after replacing two rugs on the way to their doggie doors. My dogs dont go to the bathroom in the house as a rule. If there is a torential downpour

I bought this after replacing two rugs on the way to their doggie doors. My dogs dont go to the bathroom in the house as a rule. If there is a torential downpour however, the girls wint go outside. I bought this pad specifically for this reason. We are ina deought bow so bo accidents thus far but i do cover up my rugs every night just in case.
