If you were to buy 2 of these, would you be able to combine them together and make one larger secured area?

Short answer: yes. Long answer: the end panels of each has a mount for the wall and so you can’t directly hook two sets up to each other, but by loosening the locks (the ones between each panel used to lock the panels in whatever arrangement) all the way, you can remove the end panels from each set and from there it’s pretty easy to join them together.

CAN THE PANNELS BE REMOVED TO ACCOMIDATE A SMALLER SPACE?

Ease and flexibility to meet multiple needs

My dog needed orthopedic surgery and was going to have to be confined for her recovery. She does not do well in a crate or cage. I needed to find something affordable that would confine without causing too much stress. This FRISCO dog gate and playpen is perfect. The ease and flexibility to configure the design to meet the needs of my household worked great. I was able to make an enclosure that feels open and use leftover panels to make a barrier for the stairs!

Not for children

I bought this for my 9 month old. When I received it, it said on the box not for children, pet use only. Would have been nice to know before I ordered it. Im also

Im also having a difficult time returning it. They said they would mail the return slip within 7-14 days. It's been 29 and I still have not received it. I will not be purchasing anything from Chewy again.

Puppy fit through the bars

Overall great playpen/gate, easy to set up and heavy duty. My miniature poodle managed to fit through the bars though so we’ll have to get one with thinner bars

My husband and I were seriously surprised at the quality of this gate. It is unbelievably sturdy, in that it doesn’t tip or feel at all unsteady, even when we were trying to make it unsteady to test it out like our large dog and toddler grandson likely would. The size of the individual gates is perfect in helping to customize it based on our space, in different uses. The section that has theopening door is incredibly useful, much to our surprise. We are just really impressed with this gate, and we’ve been so pleased with how ithas worked out.

Well built and customizable

We have 2 large dogs that would charge our insides of our front doors scratching them to look out the windows. We needed a gate we could position in our own formation

We have 2 large dogs that would charge our insides of our front doors scratching them to look out the windows. We needed a gate we could position in our own formation and not necessarily screw into the walls. So far so good. They do not jump up on it. We placed small pieces of grip mats under the hinge areas to keep it from sliding. The grip mats seemed to help quite a bit. The door works well though somewhat narrow. I would buy it again.

It’s perfect for our needs. I separated it into two pieces, each with four panels. We use it to block the two sets of steps on our wrap around porch so our little Pomeranian, Snickers, can be out there safely with us. We didn’t attach the gate/fence to anything, it’s freestanding. Great purchase.

Falls apart

If you're going to have heavy use of this gate -- for example, needing to move it around a lot, adjust the size, etc. it's just a huge pain in the neck. The connectors

If you're going to have heavy use of this gate -- for example, needing to move it around a lot, adjust the size, etc. it's just a huge pain in the neck. The connectors unscrew all the time, the bars fall out. We were using it in an office, so we had to move and adjust it a lot (which is why we got this one...). It just couldn't hold up to that kind of use.
