This crate is nicely built. However, this crate is entirely too big for my dog and I used the chart provided. I just have a border collie and I could fit two of her in this crate. If it tells you all anything, I am 115 pounds and 5 foot five. I, myself, can fit inside this crate, and fully sit up. Not disappointed in the crate itself at all, just disappointed the size chart is inaccurate.
If you're like me you're going to the reviews to try to figure out which wire crate to get since there's so many brands and they all seem pretty much the same. Well, you're right. You can honestly get pretty much get any wire crate on here and they'll all be 99% the same. There are a couple things that I like about this one compared to others. Most of all is the door stays open at any angle, so you're not having to constantly keep it from falling shut. You can open it a tiny bit or all the way and it will stay in that position. Another is that it rolls going sideways. Easy for moving. And it has a convenient carry handle.
Super simple to set up. Fits my 2 year old Amstaff perfectly for bedtime. Slide a blanket/towel under the plastic basin to reduce a rattle. The crate pad I have helps but the blanket really reduced the rattle/echo of a rustling, sleeping doggo.
This dual door crate fits rear of our 2020 Nissan Murano without folding down the rear seat. Nicely holds our 55-57 medium sized hunting dog.
After my husky busted through our used crate we got from a friend, I needed a replacement for him quick, fast, and in a hurry. This crate is exactly the size I needed, and thanks to Chewy it made it to my house in a day. I wish the locking mechanisms were sturdier, but I use a carabiner to make it extra secure now. An easy solution to the ever-popular husky-escape-artist problem,
I got this for my medium to bigger kitty cat because she outgrew her old travel crate and hated going in it. I suspected her absolute hatred of the old one had a lot to do with not being able to see out of it. This one went up very easily and quickly, and with a little snack encouragement, my baby is exploring it and even laying in it on her own now.
We got this crate as an upgrade once our pup started growing and it has been wonderful. I will say it does feel slightly cheaply made and bends easily but overall I like that it has two doors and that it keeps my pup safe while I’m at work!
Can be a little fiddly to build and brake down, and you need strong hands to adjust the optional divider. Overall though, I'm happy with this crate...and that it offers a 2-door option.
The crate has worked out great for us. Very good quality. Glad I purchased the one with 2 doors, it will be helpful when traveling & for the camper.
My 12 pound pom mix, Ozzy loves his 48 inch crate. Fits his bed, toys, chews, and room to spare. We rescue pomeranians and always go big with crates to ensure comfort.
