Good dog bed, not super safe as a dog seat
I wanted this to use for my 4 pound Chihuahua who gets motion sickness to help lift him up in the car. I like that it’s square in shape to keep it from moving around
I wanted this to use for my 4 pound Chihuahua who gets motion sickness to help lift him up in the car. I like that it’s square in shape to keep it from moving around. The strap inside to hold your dog in place to me is flimsy and honestly I wouldn’t trust it if there was an accident. I also don’t love the “strap” that you are supposed to put through the seat belt to prevent the dog bed/seat from moving around. It also doesn’t appear very secure. Now it’s very cushy, my dog loves it and he seems very comfortable. I think it would work well if you travel with your pet and need a dual purpose seat/bed but it is bulky to carry and would be heavy with your pet in it. Also I think it’s kinda expensive since really the best use is for a dog bed. I would not pay full price for this. Probably would not use this for a pet over 10 pounds. As stated my dog in the photos is 4 pounds for reference.

This is a very nice, well made car seat/carrier/bed. Barney could not be more comfortable in it. Really nice material. Lots of padding and very soft. It makes him a nice “nest.” Like that it can be washed if needed. Handles are secure, making it easy to carry with him in it. It is up for grabs once it is moved inside as the cats try to claim it before he can get to it! I put this in the front seat in order to secure the strap around the seat. It did not come with instructions, but in checking the website, was told “install in back seat only.” I could not figure out how to strap it securely in the back seat (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). The bottom is nonslip material but did not feel it enough to hold seat in place in a collision. I did try to secure the strap around headrest but did not satisfy me. (It could be that I’m just not smart enough to figure it out.)

This is a well-made and very nice looking product with lots of padding and a thick pillow that fills the bottom. The pillow can be removed, and the cover of the pillow can be removed and washed. I felt the bed was more comfortable for them without the pillow…I would have said make the pillow about half the depth. I might even replace the pillow with a soft towel that they could scrunch up to make their own bed. The bed has pockets on two sides for storage of leashes, toys, etc. It also has a clip to attach to the dog's collar; double handles for carrying; and a shoulder strap for added support while carrying. This product is listed as “medium” (I think it says it would be good for dogs up to 25 lbs). But I can’t imagine a 25lb dog fitting in it, and certainly not a long-bodied dog such as a corgi. My photos are of my toy dogs and they look a little crowded in it. Although the product name says it's convertible, no instructions came with it, and I don’t know how it is “convertible”. I'd call it "multifunctional". My dogs have not taken to it voluntarily. I left it on the floor for a week or more, but no one has gotten into it after I took the pictures.

It is more like a bed for the backseat rather than a carseat. This is 3 in 1: carseat, travel bed and carrier (due to the handles). For a small dog that just wants a soft place to chill in the car, I think it is a great choice! It is also a convenient cozy dog bed option for traveling with your pet, such as staying in a hotel or at a family member's house. It's not sturdy on the sides, which is really my only complaint. Still a great option for backseat comfort for your pup!

Only complaint is it did not come with any installation instructions but Chewy went above and beyond to contact the manufacturer to get the exact directions. Once I put it in the car my dog loved it for her ride to the groomers!

I love that you can use it as a carrier, car seat, and travel bed, that makes trips so much easier. My pet seems comfortable and settles in quickly. The only reason it’s not five stars is that it’s a bit bulkier than I expected, but overall it’s sturdy, convenient, and well-made. Would definitely recommend!
