This was a fun little game once my dogs figured it out. It took a lot of training and practice to get it going for each of my dogs. It has 3 sizes for food which makes it a great option for small dogs and big dogs alike. The pedal took a little finagling from my dogs to get it to spit out- it needs to be hit HARD to get food out. If it’s lightly tapped, it just spins a little.

My 20 year old, 16 pound dachshund loves food and a fast eater. I thought this might be fun to feed one of her meals instead of using a slow bowl. With my girl being long, low to the ground and very short legs, I realized that using her paw to dispense the food may be too difficult. She's more of a nose girl but may surprise me one day. We made a game out of dinner with me being the dispenser. She has fun watching the motions and anticipating flying kibble. With 3 interchangeable lids, her kibble works great with 2 of the lids. The largest hole lets a couple pieces fly at a time, so she prefers that one. This Dispenser is cute, sturdy and well made. The lever works great. I use either my hand or foot to dispense. She does get excited when she sees me loading the duck, so I would say she agrees it's a winner.

Small and adorable pet treat dispenser, probably ideal for small pets, maybe 14lbs and under. The toy comes with 3 domes to change challenge level. To start off I put it on the easiest level which has the biggest opening for treats to fall out. I put Temptations treats inside which are desirable and small and liked universally among my furry ones so they are desirable to my dog too. My dog is a smart but slow learner. She understood the treats were inside and was interested. My dog was observant of the dome opening and so immediately her interest went there and she was not interested in the paw foot pedal. I demonstrated how to use it. With the tiny treats I used 2-4 treats came out with 1 press. She didn't figure it out or that the treats came out the opposite side from the pedal. This is a toy that will require some training but I love the design, quality, and concept and looking forward to demonstrating to her how to use it daily until it clicks. I am also looking forward to seeing if my other pet can figure out how to use it too as it would be an appropriate size for a dog or other small furry ones.

The product is strong and stable, has a smoothly operating actuator arm and comes with 3 domes, each with a different aperture opening to allow for dispensing different size treats. The lever doesn’t require much effort to push and I feel my chihuahuas could operate it once they make the mental connection. They are fascinated by it and come running now when they hear me start to push the lever. I’m trying operative`` training to get the light bulb switches to flip but even if they don't figure it out it's still fun for them to watch and chase treats.

This is a great concept but sadly it doesn't work well for our sheltie. He understood what to do within a few minutes (smart boy!) but it is lightweight and easily flips over and moves when he hits the lever. I have to constantly pick it up and right-side it. Also, food bits have to be pretty small or the dispenser gets blocked.

Best for larger small dogs

This was a little too large for my small dog (7lb) to be able to use. He’s also maybe too young to be coordinated enough for it. I gifted it to a friend with a 25lb

This was a little too large for my small dog (7lb) to be able to use. He’s also maybe too young to be coordinated enough for it. I gifted it to a friend with a 25lb dog who loves it! So maybe somewhere upwards of 10lb-30lb may like this? It would be too small for a much bigger dog. But overall I love the concept of it, and could absolutely entertain the right dog!

While my dog is still trying to figure out how this works, it's a bit frustrating to find treats that actually pop out. I have to shop for smaller treats, because while this comes with three sizes of holes for the treats to come out, the biggest one is still too small for the smallest treats I have in the house.

Cute but doesn't work well at least for my pups

I was super excited to give this to my two pups to try out but was very disappointed. I gave this to my smaller cockapoo first (25 lbs) and put his smaller food using the smaller top for it. The handle that he has to hit to dispense the food is challenging to push down all the way so the food never came out for him. I then gave it to my larger full size goldendoodle (64 lbs) and put the largest top on it. He has very large paws and is very strong. He too had a hard time pushing the lever all the way down and once he did, the dispenser flipped over. Just not very well made for either size pups.

It's cute. I like that it comes with different sizes for different treats. My only issue is that my it's hard for some of my dogs to press down the lever. They are chihuahuas, so they don't really weigh enough unless they use both front paws. Sometimes it takes quite a few presses off the lever before a treat comes out, so it's slow teaching my dogs to use it. Sturdy though, my dogs knock out around when the treat won't come out. All in all, not a bad product, but harder for dogs to figure out.

I like that this product comes with 3 different size domes for the treats, it is not too loud, and I love the bright colors. Sadly both my dog and cat were afraid of this product. I would show them how it worked, they would quickly grab a treat and run to eat it at a safe distance. Its really cute though and works great, easy to press down the button, treats come out perfectly.
