This fountain is compatible with the "PawsPik SS-01 Cat Fountain Replacement Filters". Each filter provides up to 4 weeks of delicious, clean drinking water.

I have three questions: Is the battery rechargeable? Is the cord removable? What replacement filters go with this fountain?

It has a 400mAh battery and can run wireless for up to 60 days in timed mode. It is a cordless fountain. The "PawsPik SS-01 Cat Fountain Replacement Filters" are compatible with this fountain.

My Romeo absolutely loves to drink out of the water faucet, but he can only do it when I'm there to turn the water on for him. He waits eagerly to enjoy the fresh water, but i worried because the tap water wasn't filtered. I only use filtered water in his bowls, and keep several around the house to encourage him to drink extra water since he had a history of blocking twice soon after we adopted him. Well now I don't need all those other bowls, and I don't need to worry about the tap water any more either! Romeo ADORES his new fountain! It makes him feel just like he's drinking from the faucet! The fountain holds a generous supply of water, which he laps up with such joy. Really makes my heart happy! There's bonus candy, too... since we keep the fountain next to our bedroom, my husband and I love the gentle blue light it provides in the night! We don't trip over cats in the dark, so everyone wins with this fountain! Very happy with it, we award All the Stars! Thanks Chewy!

First of all, I was shopping for wireless. It was supposed to be wireless second of all, it didn't fit together properly to even be able to fill it and places the pieces together and then plug it in, but it's a risk to have a wire fountain. I wanted wireless, because I have a cat that used cords, even if I protect the cord, the whole piece. The water fountain is useless, I couldn't even use it because the pieces didn't fit together. Right and I followed the instructions, it was junk and I wasted my money fully wasted it, I wouldn't even donate this to an animal rescue shelter, let alone use it in my home for my cat. It's not safe and it's junk.

Let me start by saying I have tried so many different water fountains for my 3 cats and have never been satisfied. Plastic is always bad and ceramic is so bulky

Let me start by saying I have tried so many different water fountains for my 3 cats and have never been satisfied. Plastic is always bad and ceramic is so bulky and difficult to clean, but this product is stainless steel which prevents cat acne while being easy to clean! Also, it is battery operated which is a GAME CHANGER! It’s so hard to find a spot for their fountain while also being convenient to an outlet, this solves that problem because it can go wherever I want it to! It’s a rare thing for all 3 of my cats to enjoy something, but they all love this fountain! The fact that it mimics a faucet means that I no longer have to waste money running my faucet all day! Overall, I highly recommend this product!

very easy to set up with straightforward instructions and minimal parts. comes with every thing you need to get started (minus the water!) .... very quiet when motor is running like a very low hum. 3 different settings (continuous, cycle and sensor) makes it easy to adjust to pets needs for fresh flowing filtered water. good size not too big that it is in the way but still able to hold a good amount of water throughout the day! functions similar to a fish tank filter for contunued access to fresh water. -getting the dogs used to using it as something brand new will be the "hardest part"

I love this thing. It does exactly what it says it will do, providing fresh, flowing water any time motion is detected. I wanted to use this in my bedroom, where the dogs would have access at night, but I kept it in the kitchen (near their food bowls) so they could get used to it. Alas, they did not get used to it. When the water started running, they jumped back and refused to go anywhere near it. I tried putting food near it, dipping my finger in it and letting them "drink" a few drops from my hands ... nothing worked. Long story short: even in the bedroom, they won't go near it. They just don't understand that fresh water is good. I'd like to feed the wildlife with it - I think the birds would love it - but it's so nice, I hate to put it outside. So for now, it's just waiting to see what I can dream up while the dogs drink stale water.

Water Fountain (Stainless Steel) Well. I love this thing! It’s easy to clean, whisper quiet and doesn’t need an outlet. It’s chargeable! When we first set it up we chose the motion activated faucet and boy, the cats were scared! Imagine having murder mittens and sharp fangs and being afraid of a faucet??! Once we set it up for constant flow, the boys came around to it. I’d give this fountain a 5, but the cattos were at a 3 in the beginning for sure.
