Plastic parts beware of mold

I love the capacity of this water fountain and even my tiny 5 lb Maltese can drink from it, even though the tray is a few millimeters too high. I have a pet-sitting

I love the capacity of this water fountain and even my tiny 5 lb Maltese can drink from it, even though the tray is a few millimeters too high. I have a pet-sitting business, so there are multiple dogs drinking from this fountain. The water level decreases rapidly and I give it a thorough cleaning at least once a week. I have found green mold growing inside the plastic motor parts at every cleaning. Make sure you take the motor apart and clean away the mold with soap and a small brush. You must be very meticulous to reach all of the mold as the spaces are tiny. This fountain would be perfect if the mold didn't proliferate.

We have several of these watering fountains and this one just isn’t up to the same quality as the others. The fountain part leaks out the side and the lip is too

We have several of these watering fountains and this one just isn’t up to the same quality as the others. The fountain part leaks out the side and the lip is too wide for the insert part to go down fully. Very disappointed. Will try to make a fix so it works correctly.

Horrible Design Flaw

The fountain is designed so most of the water bypasses the filter. I bought it to keep the water clean, but the bowl is full of slobber and dirt anyway. The filters

The fountain is designed so most of the water bypasses the filter. I bought it to keep the water clean, but the bowl is full of slobber and dirt anyway. The filters are also tiny for this size fountain, and there is no prefilter to strain out the drool strings and big particles before they get to the filter, even if the water would actually go through it. So the pump immediately gets full of hair and slobber. I returned it.

Excellent quality automatic water dispenser for dogs

I’m very impressed with this quality automatic water dispenser. It was easy to set up and very easy to clean. I have a 96 pound lab and she really enjoys drinking

I’m very impressed with this quality automatic water dispenser. It was easy to set up and very easy to clean. I have a 96 pound lab and she really enjoys drinking out of the fountain nozzle or the pan. At first she wasn’t sure about it but once she drank out of the nozzle she figured this is my new water dish, how cool is that! The nozzle is also adjustable so the water spray can be higher or lower. The water stays very cool and having a window that has a light facilitates when you need to refill. I do empty it and refill it every three days as my dog does get some food particles in it after she eats and I want her to have fresh water. Being that it’s stainless steel will also help so it doesn’t build up bacteria or mold like plastic does. We love it and I’m glad I made a well worthy purchase.
