This works as advertised! Great product! Three of my four cats love to play in their water fountain and towels just don't cut it (changed daily). I was worried about soaking onto/into flooring and this keeps the floor dry and also the mat itself is dry to stand on (& play!). I told my daughter about these & she ordered 2 large mats for her 'wet-mouth' golden retriever puppy. Works wonderfully. YEAH!!

I purchased two of the mats - one for my adult German Shepherd and one for my 3 month old Leonberger Puppy. The mats are well-made, I like the size. My concern is when the water spills, especially with my puppy, the water leaks under the mat and will keep my wood floors wet. I'm going to start reusing the mats once my puppy matures a bit and doesn't play in her water bowl.

As soon as water hits it, it absorbs it and dries out quickly! If you have a splashing pet, buy it! I bought the smallest size and it is sufficient for our pet!

Best things about my new mat: (1) I love the size. The medium is about 17 x 23“ and it holds two large pet food bowls. It’s very thin but is a strong material. (2) Besides the strength of the material, I like the color. And there was no weird chemical odor from the mat when I opened it. It’s easy to wipe up spills and the excess drips just absorb and then evaporate. (3) This mat stays in place. It does not roll up at the edges and it does not move across the floor. The overall aesthetics and the functionality of the mat are great. Please excuse the dirt in my photos. We have multiple dogs, and we have livestock and two family members work in landscaping. My kitchen floor is constantly dirty from people walking through, even though I sweep and mop every night. I’m honestly wondering if this material would be suitable for wet shoes and other things, because it absorbs the dog drips and water spills so well. A size medium fit perfectly in the space I am using. There is always one water bowl there, and I add a second food bowl at meal time.

This mat is perfect for my stainless steel bowl only family. we use only stainless steel because of allergies. Most mats i have tried are super slick and either the mat slides or the bowl slides. This mat does a great job of staying in place and the bowls also dont seem to move as much either. I like the size of the mat to provide a good amount of surface protection and the material wipes easily clean. I definitely want to get more for my other pups.
