The Beef Collagen Sticks are single-ingredient chews that are not irradiated or treated with any harmful chemicals. The Collagen is washed in hot water, rolled by hand, and baked in the oven, that is it.

Is this a rawhide treat?

Purchased these large collagen sticks as we enjoy the small sticks and looking for them to last a bit longer. I typically throw out the last couple inches of the small collagen sticks to prevent any choking. These large sticks seem different- pieces break off easily and sharp shards came off, won’t be purchasing these again for safety reasons.

Do not buy these. I thought these were going to be the thick collagen sticks, but these are more like glass rawhide. They are very thin and break into shards when your dog is chewing causing choking. We took them away from our dog and had to vacuum the floor where he was sitting due to all the very small pieces. Very Dangerous choking hazard!!

My dogs really liked these, but one full stick was too much and I would end up saving the remnants. Then I cut them in half but I had to use a hacksaw, because they're so hard. That should have been a clue. My vet recommended not giving my dogs anything that hard, so unfortunately I had to take it off the autoship.

Breaks into shards

my 6 month old puppy was crunching these into shards! i didn’t realize this until i turned off my vacuum and could hear it. unfortunately this messed up her tummy

my 6 month old puppy was crunching these into shards! i didn’t realize this until i turned off my vacuum and could hear it. unfortunately this messed up her tummy and she vomited the next morning and passed a two inch whole shard that afternoon. i’m thankful she passed it and is feeling better but i doubt these would hold up to even a moderate chewer. pay attention if you get these. she’s tried this brand at around 4-5 months and had no issues. i guess just stronger teeth came into play.

I genuinely cannot imagine a product that would be more annoying than these sticks. My dog loves them, that's great. Yours probably will too, but I hope you enjoy

I genuinely cannot imagine a product that would be more annoying than these sticks. My dog loves them, that's great. Yours probably will too, but I hope you enjoy spending the rest of your entire life searching for and picking up ultra sharp bits of collagen that are now strewn all around your house and in your laundry machine. I will never stop finding these things. These are worse than glitter. I hate this product.

They are a little long for her short legs, but hey that just means more time chewing!! We will definitely be re-ordering these again for her!
