Strong egg shells

Before my hens eggs were so fragile whenever I cracked them my egg would spill. Now my egg is hard to crack LOL but that’s good it means it’s healthy!

Ahanghus LOVES his oyster shells!

As a super Rooster, Ahanghus is in charge of our other chicken 'men' & 'women' - they love his choices! Thanks Chewy! PS why aren't roosters & hens listed under

The chickens ate a couple pieces and then it still raining out in the Chicken Coop on the floor don't really care for it we just crushed the egg shells they lay and take those back to them they seem to like those better maybe the chickens are picky who knows.

Too large of pices

My hands don't care for this oyster shell. They like the flaked oyster shell better. This stuff is way too big it's more like large grit rocks.

Good quality

The pieces are mixed some small and some big pieces. But the chickens still eat them.

Simple Calcium Choice!

It’s great! There’s not much to say about it, the results speak for themselves: I had a hen, (maybe a few of them), who had been calcium deficient for a long time

It’s great! There’s not much to say about it, the results speak for themselves: I had a hen, (maybe a few of them), who had been calcium deficient for a long time. When it came to collecting eggs, most of the eggs were pecked at or completely broken. Upon inspection of the eggs which were intact, their shells were far too translucent and brittle. After feeding my hens these oyster shells for 3 weeks, my hens have entirely stopped consuming their eggs! The eggs have, also, begun to develop much harder shells. Occasionally, a hen might peck at an egg, but it won’t break. It might sustain a hairline fracture, but I’ve noted the drastic upgrade in the strength of my eggshells. These oyster shells are really a great choice for quick and easy calcium intake for hens :) I mix it with their layer feed, but I suppose that one could also serve it separately, inside of a dish or small trough.
