Too loud, vibrates too much

I bought two of these air pumps. One for a 65 gal size tank and a smaller one for a 10 gal size tank. Both air pumps vibrate too much and create loud noise. I've

I bought two of these air pumps. One for a 65 gal size tank and a smaller one for a 10 gal size tank. Both air pumps vibrate too much and create loud noise. I've tried putting them in different locations, sitting them on sponges, towels, and wrapping old socks around them. They both seem to defy any effort to stop the loud vibrating which causes them to slowly move. This vibrating causes them to knock against the back of the aquarium, and against other objects on the cabinet over time and creating loud noise. Don't buy these; you will regret it. It is maddening how distracting they are. I'm going to buy another brand and throw these in the garbage where they belong.

Extremely loud

Pump is so loud you can’t even hear yourself think. My tanks needed one asap since our last one went out so didn’t return.
