I'm a bit foggy on the details. I'm new to feeding backyard squirrels. I got a bag of these seeds, along with some other squirrel mix. Either I gave a less than glowing review, or I mentioned to Chewy, that they didn't look like what I was expecting and the squirrels didn't like them. Chewy gave me a refund. Meanwhile, all of a sudden I have a backyard full of wild birds. They love them. What I have since learned is that I was expecting a different kind of sunflower (the fat ones)......but these, the Black Oil (BOSS) are the ones the birds like. I also learned that the hulls are good for the garden as they control plant growth. So....I can even toss them on the ground......but not in plant beds. So, my apologies to Pennington and Chewy. I will buy them again.

Chewy's ingredient list is not correct

Chewy's ingredient list says Sunflower Seed Oil. However, if you look on the package it states vitamins and vegetable oil added. The large bag i purchased smelled

Chewy's ingredient list says Sunflower Seed Oil. However, if you look on the package it states vitamins and vegetable oil added. The large bag i purchased smelled rancid. I wouldn't have ordered if i had know things had been added to the Sunflowers. Chewy, please make sure that your ingredient list has everything added. Otherwise if it isn't trusted and you have to read the package, it isn't adding value.

I needed a lot of birdseed. I keep feeders at my home and a local cemetery filled. It has been so cold lately that I have been going through the seed quickly. I recently had a hip replacement and knew I would really struggle to haul 320 pounds of birdseed home (8 forty pound bags). Chewy had it on my porch within a few days of ordering. The quality of the seed is excellent and the price was very reasonable. Per usual, Chewy delivers in every way. I couldn't be more satisfied! Thank you.

OMG- 40 pounds is a lot

We normally buy our birdseed at Lowes- but you can’t beat the price and free delivery. We’ll have enough to feed all the birds/squirrels in the neighborhood.

Just to be able to order a product that's always in stock online, without having to make the extra trip to the store only to find out that the next shipment won't

Just to be able to order a product that's always in stock online, without having to make the extra trip to the store only to find out that the next shipment won't be in until the following week, is not only such a load off my mind, but also a load of 40lbs x 3 bags off my car, and a few dollars back into my wallet. No other neighborhood store or online store can compare to Chewy's s&h fees along with their affordable prices. GREAT product at a cost I can't complain about!

Examples: Tetra koi fish food and Fresh Pet cat litter. As a (very) senior citizen, it was a real struggle to get 40 lbs of sunflower seeds rebagged and off my front step.
