They like the regular seed better

We have always fed our birds all year round. We filled our feeder up half safflower seed and half wild seed, same brand. The birds did not touch the safflower seed

We have always fed our birds all year round. We filled our feeder up half safflower seed and half wild seed, same brand. The birds did not touch the safflower seed until all the rest was eaten and that all that was left. Then we tried it with half safflower and half birder’s blend, again same brand, and they refused to eat it until the other seed was gone. I would say it is definitely not their choice meal.

This is good quality seed for the price. A small stick here and there, in the 15 lb bag, but overall clean and no dust. Birds were eating "high-dollar" safflower

This is good quality seed for the price. A small stick here and there, in the 15 lb bag, but overall clean and no dust. Birds were eating "high-dollar" safflower and it took a day or so for them to "adapt" to the new brand, but now they eat it like candy, and I refill the standard feeder 2x/day!! -- finches, cardinals, doves +

So far it seems to be working! I also love that the Cornell Lab of Ornithology backs it as a good food source. Great price point as well. I will purchase again!

Squirrel resistant

Squirrels did not care for it, but neither did my birds. The birds usually empty the feeder in 2 days. Its now 2 weeks and only down 1/3.
