Unfortunately, the dropper does not go far enough down into the liquid in this bottle to retrieve the liquid. I contacted chewy to ask them about bottling the pergolide differently, but they haven’t responded back to me yet. It’s disappointing to say the least.
My horse was rejecting all other forms of pergolide. He seems quite happy with the marshmallow flavor liquid. Finally, I can get the meds inside the horse.
This is so easy to get meds into my old pony! It hits the tongue and you’re done!!
I am trying this medication in liquid form for the first time. I am pleased w/ the availability of various strengths in apple flavor.
This stuff is amazing, this is the first time in over 2 years I actually got my horse to take her cushings meds without spitting it out!
Medicating my horse with pergolide tablets was a nightmare. They taste terrible, and he avoided me. This compounded form, in marshmallow flavor, is well accepted by him, and very easy to give. The cost of this compounded medicine is 1/4 of what I was paying for tablets. Thank you Chewy!
