Would this be a good feed for Mini’s?

This feed is recommended for healthy horses in breeds with a sensitivity for weight gain, such as Arabians, Morgans, Spanish breeds, draft breeds, ponies, miniature horses, donkeys and mules as part of a balanced and healthy diet when fed with quality forage and water.
Is this a good choice for ulcer prone horses? And does the pellet breakdown easily? My guy is older and has been on Nutrenas “smart pellet” for years which easily breaks down when wet to avoid chocking.
